I envy you being able to test so fast. It's taking me 15 mins just to get the exploit and codehandler to work to test one ROM.
I just test again and again, ROM after ROM, blackscreen? press R to get into VC menu, try the next ROM, reset emulator, see if it works, repeat.

Ah. Super Mario World doesn't work either. And most popular ROMs are larger than Super Mario Kart (512KB), so I seemed to have (unknowingly) picked a shitty base game.

When you upload a ROM that's smaller than the base, do you fill the rest with F's or do you just leave the old data intact?

I'll update my first post with non-working games, since I have yet to find a working one. The only thing that works is re-injecting the Super Mario Kart ROM into it haha.

EDIT: Would there be any way to "expand" the base to allow larger games, say by comparing my Super Mario Kart VC dump to your Super Metroid one?

my guess is super mario kart is a dsp chip only config emulator try the dsp 1 on this list
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_...of_Super_NES_games_that_use_enhancement_chips
I like the thought.
Edit: Got my first working game! Bike Daisuki! Hashiriya Damashii - Riders Spirits (Japan). It's a DSP-1 chipped game, too. Good call on that. Bummer that my options seem to be limited though, until FW spoofing.
Edit2: Idk what I did wrong the first time. Pilot Wings does work, but only until you get into a mission.

is there any config file in the snes VC FSA
Nope. Only texture2D_206.gsh, wiiu_shared.bfasr and ERR.mbst, SYS.mbst, VCM.mbst for about 30 languages and regions

thats crazy how little you have, for me its more 50/50 if you look at my list atm.

Well it would be like you using Super Mario World as your base; you'd be limited to all games < 512KB from the start. I just have the additional restriction of only being able to use DSP-1/1A/1B games on top of that lol.

hm so I have the feeling that NES injection is not really possible, it seems to only do a soft reset and even though the rom is located at 10502250, replacing it wont do anything because as soon as the emulator started once (doesnt matter if you reset in the vc menu) the emulator will use a headerless (first 0x10 bytes missing) copy of the nes rom located at different spots (for example 10c616e4 in kirbys adventure and 10be10fc in punch-out), when you replace those with headerless files and reset the game it will blackscreen, I assume because of different settings, the "best" I got was inject the german version of kirbys adventure into the english one and even that resulted in issues which I assume come from soft resetting.
note how letters are missing, these are german characters like ä,ö and ü which I assume are just missing from the game map.

netflix connects to https://account.nintendo.net when you launch it.
it you don't have network or internet access, you can't launch netflix.
if you have internet access and don't block account.nintendo.net access, it used to work fine up to this month. Now it seems nintendo forced users to update system to use online service. (or maybe there's a netflix update, and to get it you need eshop, and for that it need system update)
note that I'm on 5.3.2
maybe you are on 5.4 ? 5.5 ? maybe you downloaded latest netflix update (which I've read users report that it got an update on August 28th 2015)
I wish it could update itself like a game update, without going to eshop...

fun fact :
once launched, Netflix never use the proxy info set in the network settings.
I could disable it fully to prevent console updates and netflix always continued to work fine.

Slightly off-topic: the new Netflix app is really great, and finally puts the Wii U client on par with other consoles'... so it sucks that some of you guys can't update it :(

Slightly on-topic: How's progress in general? Any new findings on IOSU? 5.4 and 5.5? I've kinda been out of the loop since my Wii U updated recently.

so since we know how to inject snes games properly, have a quick way for it:
https://www.mediafire.com/?ipazcjp6da9r6bp
just a simple C app, windows only, edit the ip.txt for your wiiu, start gecko, go into game and vc menu, drag and drop snes rom into exe, click reset in the vc menu, enjoy your game. Oh also note I didnt even implement a timeout or anything so if it doesnt move on and is stuck just close and retry it, the whole process should only take a few seconds. If you feel like it doesnt send at all you can simply close the vc and re-open it from the wiiu menu to reset the gecko connection.
