So I readjusted my patches so that it wouldn't get a chance to throw any errors, now it's not throwing an actual error but the update nags persist.

Maybe you need to replace the eShop with the latest version by using Cafiine?
Maybe even other system titles?

EDIT: maybe Version.bin (00050010-10041200)

Hello guys just sharing a BIG FAIL to me

I Blocked all Nintendo Ip with OpenDNS
I did all right BUT
For while just tested in my Main Wii U
I tried to play with XenoX with no ethernet and said i need to download this data

FIRST TEST FAIL!!!
Ok i downloaded and after it
I disabled ethernet and deleted all save data from XenoX

And tried again

Now said:

"To use this Software (5.5.0) is vital to have data"

SECOND TEST FAIL!!!

Now i was mad -_-

This data is to fix some bug/glitches from XenoX (1.1.0)

But in my 2nd Wii U (5.3.2)
I played a lot XenoX (1.0.0 with bugs) with no ethernet and i created my Save Data Profile

LAST TEST (?)
My last hope is be possible to play on my 2nd (5.3.2) with just my
Save Data Profile and
With all Nintendo Ip blocked
- Automatic / Stand-by / QuickStart all disabled
Or confirm XenoX is possible to play with 5.4.0 Version or Higher
And if my last test is other FAIL

I will figure out if have life after death

I recommend using TubeHax's DNS instead of OpenDNS because the latter is not very reliable...

Making more progress on eShop update bypasses. 105-4260 was the old error, which just said the network was "busy" (aka nn::nim::NeedsNetworkUpdate returned 1). This is what happens when you remove the call from the app .text. I'm willing to bet this is a return from NNID sign in, so maybe patching NIM directly will yield results.
I bypassed this by opening the eShop from the home menu, but I got a similar message instead (maybe from the eShop instead of the Nintendo Network; it's written in Italian even though the console is set to English, it has no error code on top, it has an update button...).
Also, I replaced several system titles with Cafiine, such as "Version.bin" and the Wii U Menu (no code can be replaced yet).

i tested the same méthod, but i dont know how inject code file.
i decompiled the FW 5.5.0 and i want replace the file with cafiine but i dont know how and it s possible or not...

Those OpenDNS failures happen because you should be using a Dynamic IP address, change it to a Static IP address and everything should be fine. ;)
Using a router's blacklist/parental control to filter the IP addresses is the best and most reliable way if your router has that feature.

Please Everyone, if you got big pictures or lots of text to post use spoilers or code tags, that is what they are there for, this is not only my personal opinion but GBAtemp themself encourage it too.
If everyone starts posting big posts (pictures or code or whatever), the thread is going to be unreadable..

Cafiine can't replace code yet...
I could replace something downloaded with Uwizard, but not code.

Or just attach the pictures as thumbnails.
I think the spoiler tag was originally intended to prevent, well, spoilers...

Ofcourse that would be better, for most adding spoilers would be easier probably.
You are also right about the spoilers but over time it's function changed on this forum...
Spoilers is maybe misleading, but you can change the spoiler tag name now to another name..
But let's not get too much off topic now..

You just reminded me about that MKDS 600cc cheat code, which I don't recommend it to anyone btw. :ohnoes:
There's a MK7 one that puts it at 9999cc or something insane like that. I don't recommend anyone use it either - it basically renders the game unplayable because you're constantly clipping through walls and falling to your death.

I have already done MK7 speed hack

I might be doing on MK8 but my WiiU has the latest firmware
