Thanks for the input.

Perhaps buying a second one stand alone unit, asking which FW it has could actually work. (As these are the refurbished kinds, and not being used)
I asked a few sellers about it, would be nice to have a cheap 5.3.2 unit for all the brew. :)

I bought a second WiiU (console only) from ebay and it only cost £49 well worth it imo.

plus it was 5.3.2.. (luckily)

I just tried running some homebrew again, this time from my own domain again, it worked...
And those are old builds right now.. (Not that I think there were any improvements in the 210 exploit stability since?)

I ran both Pong and then Hello World.

I used Wj44's site before all the time, which doesn't work for 2.1.0, or the builds have changed something since, and broken 2.1.0 support?

I see they're hording firmware spoofing too.
Eh, FWIW I'm in the middle of trying to get my Wii U 'spoofed' since I bought a bundle but can't get into eShop. It's definitely possible with kernel access, just takes a bit of time and RE. The main issue is patching game's .text region to ignore firmware update checks, but past that I think it'll be like 3DS where it doesn't even bat an eye at the fact that it's not up to date. Maybe even disable auto-updating for the duration as well to allow temporary NUS unblocking.

That's something great if this works!

Good luck with that :)
