Are you sure it's actually an exploit or just a repeatable crash?
It's an exploiit which was not found by myself.
There are some guys in another forum which found this exploit. PM'd MrRean already.
And yea, as long there are no stable homebrews for the Wii U and another exploits aren't released for newer firmwares, I'm not allowed to share anything about it, sorry.

Well, I'll be watching out for it. I'm kinda glad I got the digital copy of the game now haha.

Yes, everything should work, I figured this out weeks ago, you all should follow https://twitter.com/NWPlayer123 some time :P
Might have weird graphical glitches like Beetle Adventure Racing (probably just because N64 emulation is awful) but from my poking most stuff should work.
your twitter makes me want to try splatoon.

Followed because why not. My Twitter is a barren wasteland because I almost never use it so

Perhaps this Wii U stuff will be enough to get me back into using Twitter for once.

At first, I wasn't concerned with not being able to go online because of NaviLoz, since I almost never play online anyways. I was just going to continue waiting for the 5.4 exploit like I have been doing and enjoy playing Super Mario Maker when it came out. Then I realized that I won't be able to download levels because of him.
I want to smack him across the face with a golf club now.

The idiot award of the entire Wii U homebrew scene goes to Ryanrocks. :D
Instead of screwing with people in regular online lobbies to stay pretty much undercover or not doing anything online at all you decided to submit an unfair time trials time on the leaderboards to get as much attention as possible. Funny enough, people thought that he hacked something himself but in reality, he just took what others made. Now everybody else has to suffer from the consequences. It's pretty obvious it wasn't a coincidence that Nintendo bumped up the minimum firmware to the latest version once again. Also Black Ops 2 is affected, a 3rd party game. Yesterday I could still play online, no longer now. Seriously? I'm pissed. :nayps3:

Mind you it didn't surprise me one bit after the online thing came to light. I had an idea the devs like MN1 & Co. would take a very dim view of recent invents and tbh I don't blame them either,if FW's5.4.0 & 5.5.0 exploits don't get released now and why should they after that then I don't blame them at all and if anyone has updated past 5.3.2 firmware, then you only have yourselfs to blame, no one else, you can't go blaming and jumping around at the devs and others on here on why not and buts and ifs etc.. get used to it, its happened and that's it! I say blame Ryanrock or whatever his name is... hes ruined future events now for everyone tbh, it was a sad day! :(

Used to be you could have your cake and eat it too, but now you have to choose one or the other: exploits or online.

Sure, Ryanrocks "ruined" being able to have it both ways, but I'd argue that it's almost better this way so that nobody can be given the opportunity to use them online. Many can't handle that responsibility. Nobody would be crying right now if Nintendo had made 5.5 required for online to begin with.

No don't worry for 5.3.2FW's I'm sure an emunand based FW will become available very soon, then you will be able to update but just until that happens we will have to wait and see and enjoy what we have going at the moment which tbh is really cool specially NSMBU Reggie editor I'm having great fun with it!

3ds checks for emuNAND changes, and blocks them. I don't know if the WiiU does it.
I'm sure NWP1 & others mentioned an emunand based FW will become available real possible soon enough, he might correct me on this but I think he said something along those lines, I'm sure of it.

I was just wondering has everyone now got this exploit booting clean every time from the wiiu web browser or are some still having major issues with Race Attack error popping up or other issues may be? I have it now booting clean every go for myself I was going to pop a new thread up but I thought since the stable V2 of the exploit came available maybe its not necessary anymore?

I've done a quick video I'm not going to keep booting it but you get the picture. The video is quite bad and shakes because I'm trying to watch as well as record, it ran out of room but have a look and if your not getting the exploit to run quite as clean as this then let me know, video works ok now as well:-
New Better Video "Still shakes, sorry can't help it"

Ok, but if we're being honest, when has Ryanrocks ever done anything positive for the scene, let alone contributive?? XD

I'm thinking of buying a new Wii U. The one I already have is still on 5.4 but I'd like to update that one if I get another so I could play new games like Super Mario Maker. The only issue is almost all my games were digitally bought off of eshop. So my question is. Is there a way to copy games from one Wii U on a higher firmware to another Wii U on a lower firmware preferably without deleting the games on the Wii U on the higher firmware?

You need to call Nintendo customer support for a license transfer, that's the only way.....

It works for me about 95% of the time now. Once in a while I'll still get a "Race Attack Failed :(" or "Failed to find DRVA or DRVHAX."

This is so exciting to see the scene evolve like this! Keep up the awesome work @Marionumber1 @NWPlayer123 @Relys @FIX94 etc etc.... You have some serious reverse engineering skills! You're proving others wrong that have doubted you all along, keep going! You're going places someday with you skills :). Wish I could help out but my hands are tied at this point ><. Guess I sealed my own fate, but I've wanted to be a game developer for a long time and its finally happened (even though I'm not making any money doing it atm lol). I will continue to contribute to other homebrew scenes for non-nintendo platforms however, as hacking and homebrew is a long time passion of mine since I first discovered "modchips" back in the psx/ps1 days for loading disc based homebrew/emulators etc.
