ROM Hack CTRTool wont run at all

I've been trying for the past, well, I don't know how long now, and I cannot get CTRTool to run at all.
I have libgcc_s_sjlj-1 on my computer, I've tried both the 32 bit and 64 bit versions and no matter what, it will not work. I always get error 0xc00007b "The application was unable to start correctly".
So, is there anything I'm able to do, is there another program that I can use, or am I screwed?

I have the same error with layeredFS when I'm trying to run the "create a plugin" .bat. I dont really know, how to solve it. All dlls are installed and I have the latest Visual Studio Pro 2015.

Dang, still no luck.
Something else I should probably mention is that CIA I'm using is DLC.

Can I ask which system you're using? If it's Windows 10, welcome to the club. Installing every C++ redistributable packages does nothing...

Yep, I'm using Windows 10, too, unfortunately.

Nope. Thanks for trying to help, though.
At this rate I'm gonna be naming my 50,000 ctrtool folders all sorts of things like "the last ctrtool - the movie" i already have one named that

That's so weird. I have win 10 too and no issues lol.

Instead of his file, put this in the folder where your ctrtool.exe is. It solved my problem with layeredFS now.

Still no luck...
I don't know, maybe I'll go and try installing a bunch of C++ packages and the like off of the Microsoft website, and see if that brings me anywhere.

Damn... you can try it with the whole package: Visual Studio 2015. It's all in, when you installed this, it might be work.

I have this same 0xc000007b error when running layeredfs as well.

have you found a fix yet?

ctrtool is running fine on my W10
