I use to be a big gamer playing video games a lot as a kid and teen and some high school times as well. Nowadays I don't play console systems or games much. But now there are 2 games I want to buy that are only available for the PS4. I know the PS4 is pricey 300-500 bucks. And the games along will be 40-60 bucks.

Do you think buying this console system for just 2 games is worth all of that money?

I'm kind of the same way. For PS4, Mortal Kombat X and The Witcher 3 have been the first games that finally made me want to buy a PS4. Bloodborne since came up on my interested list, as will be Street Fighter V. For Wii U, I considered it just by Super Smash Bros alone, and then Bayonetta 2 and Mario Kart 8. As for Xbox One...

...

...

I'm drawing up a blank. I think just that I feel I'm now able to make the money to be a completist. Oh wait, Rare Replay, okay that's one. Shovel Knight, that's two. I have it on Wii U, but the Xbox One version has Battletoads crossover, and I so want to try the turbo tunnel.

I can agree with that. Yes, there's not many great Wii U games out there, but if you are going to get the system just for these two AAA titles and another game here and there, I would justify that purchase. Mainly because MK8 is really good and Sm4sh is the perfect compliment. :D Get Splatoon, though -- definitely worth a look and another one I'd recommend.

Is the single player good? I think I may do that more than multiplayer, and I read the multiplayer is what sells the game. If you noticed why I bought Wii U, it's sequels to franchises I've invested in plenty of times. Bayonetta 2 came with the original, so I played that and then the sequel, but it was foreign to me. After watching footage and all the praise to it, and the 90 minute anime special, I took the dive and loved it. Now I feel hack and slash games would be a favorite of mine. With Splatoon, it's foreign to me.

Splatoon is meant to be a core online multiplayer experience, which also happens to be a fresh Nintendo IP that delivers an addictive shooter that has a surprising amount of depth for those who really invest big hours into. It's one of those games that is also great to play in small intervals when you just want to have a good time. Its single-player component, however, isn't something to be excited about. To me, it feels uninspiring and cutthroat short that recycles a lot of elements world through world. The biggest selling point for Splatoon is its multiplayer, and the multiplayer itself is so incredibly well constructed that it justifies a purchase just for that alone.

well you can buy the games in disc form. Resale value for used games are quite good. You can also resell your used PS4. Should be fine providing you already played some games.

SylverReZ @ SylverReZ: Also nice. Never really watched Fallout on Prime, but sounds like a good show.
