The app has been around for a while now and anyone who has a 3ds most likely already has a smartphone and a computer for viewing youtube videos anyways.

when my phone dies i use the 3ds app to watch youtube
also yeah is YouTube hax and iron hax going to be limted to the ram the game uses because YouTube would use hardly any ram and none of the homebrew games will run on youtubehax if thats the case

If only it played 3D videos, then it would have gotten something going for it.

The crashing and things indicate poor coding, yes. That means it was practically begging for an exploit to run homebrew. I'm surprised it took this long now that I look at it.

Aren't all 3DS games (with the exception of some on the old model) allowed 64 mb? Not only that, there's more factors than just ram involved in homebrew.

Also, tubehax is most likely going to be used to install something into Ironfall for ironhax.

i honestly dont know what you people want. of course the youtube app cant be compared to one on a 1.5 gh dual core 2gb ram smartphone with a high resolution screen.
but for the 3ds and its limited capabilities, it did its job rather well if you ask me. i used it for a good year to watch videos while taking baths or preparing dinner (using a better speaker though) and i had it crash maybe twice in that time.

It crashes a lot, it's unusually slow, and it doesn't play 3D video on the 3DS. I think that's pretty strange.

i don't have the YouTube app crash unless i go to go gateway 3ds on it. its not ment to let you use the youtube browser though. ironfall was probably pulled because they got loads of downloads with no one buying the full multiplayer or campaign and they were not getting much money off it. you tubes a completely free thing though.

I would personally go for it. But that's your choice. In your case it will work as a kind of shortcut but probably only for ninjhax 2 so cfw wont work with it. I did it because I dont like missing in any entrypoint I can get for free. This could be your chance to link a NNID or make a new one.

True, it sounds like a cartless entry point which would be awesome if that's the case. I don't know mich about how nnid works, but if I were to setup emunand in the future (currently I'm only on sysnand playing cias) will nnid be a problem? Will I have to unlink nnid and redo it, etc?

and the youtube apps use full if you don't want to pull out your phone and your stuck on a game to can watch how to get passed it on your 3ds
