can someone dump the firmkey.bin for n3ds and post that on "that iso site"? and alongside a 9.5 firmware.bin for N3DS....

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Oh, was that so?
I've read many comments from people that they have problems setting it up, it's too difficult and/or it isn't well explained in the OP.
really? i mean basically it's drag n drop files. thats it.

I already did, just waiting for the bloody mods to approve my post seeing as they have that annoying 50 post limit before you don't need your posts approved by a mod. :(

Shameless copy+paste+edit.

Very nice job with N3ds support. This cfw now has my full attention, but I do have a noob question before I venture into this. Can Cakes on the N3ds currently, or could it be configured/compiled to be ran using sysNAND *without* FirmlaunchHax? I know there must be more than a few gateway N3ds users who only have OoT and have wanted to properly run Ninjhax 1.1b, but up until N3ds+mset had no way of doing so.

Not yet. We need to add a new cake for N3DS for that (@Reisyukaku shared some offsets with us for older firm too, maybe the ones we need for sysNAND only cake is in there, I have to check). I'll see what I can do later today, no promises though.

Just a notice:

The only drawback is, since rxTools and CakeCFW don't use the same firmware.bin, i have to switch firmware.bin everytime i want to boot rxTools for options i sometimes use that are not in CakeCFW :/
But i guess every CFW has it's own reason for using a different method for firmware.bin.

Or you could just edit and compile cakes and make it point to a custom named firmware.bin :P

quick question for all GBA VC and DSi stuff to run probably it must also be installed on the sysnand too?

hmmz, maybe i could do that, but when i look at code i already get dizzy, mostly because i don't understand a single word or line of it :D

Maybe you can point me in the direction on what to change :p (héhé, just kidding)

Last edited by DjoeN,
To my understanding cakesfw is able to disable signature patch on sysnand mode and this can be achieve by unticking the 'enable emunand' in the option.

if that is so, would it be safe to install VC GBA and DSware in sysnand? and how can i install a CIA installer in sysnand?
