This has happened to me a few times and the problem is in the warehouse. Imop they recycle their good returns after verifying it.

I think we are talking about region swapped consoles before. I don't use the 3DS myself, I buy it for my nephews, so I am skeptical with region swapped. Also My budget is $230 included shipping per piece. Would like XL because my nephews have big hands

Okay. I will keep that in mind. Will try to resell the 2 less-than-two-month old exploitable O3DSXL to get the fund back (bought it for my nephews when I am looking for the exploitable N3DSXL). See you later.

It adds up the frustration for having to make up an excuse to return it, without giving the true reason: it's been used, there is no pre-installed demonstration app. That burns the bridge and makes future return of other people miserable.

Actually you can buy any O3DS with firmware 4.1-9.2 and just downgrade it to that firmware very easily.

Also every NIB o3ds is exploitable, I have been getting black non xl JPN units for $100 and reselling them region swapped on 4.5 with rxtools

I don't think it has been refurbished (returned?), everything looked fresh and new. Also 9.5 is quite an old firmware now...

Last friday, I bought a QEH1044 (Black) in europe (France, Paris - Fnac store) it was on 9.5.0-22E.

I don't think it has been refurbished (returned?), everything looked fresh and new. Also 9.5 is quite an old firmware now...

9.5.0-22E was an update from online so it was a return, if you can go back to the shop to swap it out say something along the lines of the screen flickers or the 3ds head tracking is not working correctly.
