There's no more nervous time than booting up a 3ds for the first time to check it's firmware. Terrifying. :)

Haha yes. Terrifying is the right word. Setting up. All the steps until you can access system settings.. ;-)

BTW, the store has this "if you change your mind, return within 30 days". You can use the product and they resell them as used.

Edit: bought a o3ds xl the other day. 4.5. ;-)
Good week. Hehe

Then there's no more frustrating time than finding out the N3ds with the right serial numbers was updated by some idiots then returned and resold as new. Apeshit crazy.

This has happened to me a few times and the problem is in the warehouse. Imop they recycle their good returns after verifying it.

If you're looking for either a non xl or xl I have them for sale and region swapped

I think we are talking about region swapped consoles before. I don't use the 3DS myself, I buy it for my nephews, so I am skeptical with region swapped. Also My budget is $230 included shipping per piece. Would like XL because my nephews have big hands:O

I know where to get 8.1 xl units for that budget

Best I can offer is $219 + $6 shipping + $20 hero fees
Okay. I will keep that in mind. Will try to resell the 2 less-than-two-month old exploitable O3DSXL to get the fund back (bought it for my nephews when I am looking for the exploitable N3DSXL). See you later.

Hope you returned it too lol

It adds up the frustration for having to make up an excuse to return it, without giving the true reason: it's been used, there is no pre-installed demonstration app. That burns the bridge and makes future return of other people miserable. :(

My offer has a time limit of how soon Walmart sells out of 9.0 stock

Actually you can buy any O3DS with firmware 4.1-9.2 and just downgrade it to that firmware very easily.

Hi,

Long time reader, new writer here.

Last friday, I bought a QEH1044 (Black) in europe (France, Paris - Fnac store) it was on 9.5.0-22E.

I don't think it has been refurbished (returned?), everything looked fresh and new. Also 9.5 is quite an old firmware now...

9.5.0-22E was an update from online so it was a return, if you can go back to the shop to swap it out say something along the lines of the screen flickers or the 3ds head tracking is not working correctly.
