What's your emunand version?

What's your emunand version?
This.
You'll need at least a relatively recent emuNAND firmware for recent games to work.
You can simply update emuNAND from the system settings, but make sure it says "GW3D" in front of the version number before doing so, and don't leave system settings between checking the firmware and updating.

I did not set the emunand, if you ask this i suppose i need to update to a later version?
I remember trying setting it up long ago and had some problems so i decided to get rid of it, ill try to give it another go...

Can i use an older guide to set up my emunand or do i need something newer seeing as my gateway is ver. 3.1.1?

Setting up emuNAND uses the same method as before, you enter the gateway menu and choose format emuNAND.

But you should backup your nand first just in case, and save it somewhere in your pc, along with everything in the sd card because making an emuNAND partition will format the card.

After you're done with the formatting process, you should start gateway and go to system settings, make sure it says GW3D next to the system firmware number, if it does, just update it through the settings.

If your 3ds is a new 3ds you should use a .cia for the 9.5 firmware, because emuNAND doesn't work above 9.5

He's using an original 3ds, so emunand will work up to 9.9 (as long as he has the latest gateway version)

And, yeah... be sure to back up your 3ds's SD before formatting emunand, and that nand backup is a good idea too.
