Smea has been tweeting out a few pictures of OOT. I posted a comment, and his reply has so much hype factor.

Here is the picture of my message and his reply.

HYPE! I think he might be hinting at 9.3+ Kernel exploit with OOT!

I'm pretty sure it's not. If it was a kernel exploit, he would have done it for Cubic Ninja first, since it's by far the easiest. I saw this when it was posted, and I'm pretty sure that app is just something he's using to develop a save file to launch Ninjhax 2.0 from OOT.

EDIT: Zoogie beat me to it. Smea is against piracy, I'm pretty sure. I think the original exploit that Ninjhax 1.X derived from just happened to have the kernel cracked already.

Wow. You just put a giant cliff on the end of my hype train :(
Shouldn't have gotten on the hype train. :P

But I could definitely be wrong about that second sentence. There are other cool things to be accomplished other that piracy out there however.

Well, I guess we will see what he is talking about soon :)

Why is it one little event spawns like 20 threads all about the same thing? Do you guys not look at the section before hitting the post button?

More progress over on twitter, looks like you might not need Cubic Ninja at all...

Smea really knows how to get the hype going doesn't he?

Seriously..
"What's new in the homebrew scene today?"
"Oh, a page full of threads asking the same trouble shooting questions for nh2.0"

Next day.
"Page full of threads all asking if kernal access will be possible in nh2.0"

Today.
"Oot conspiracy theories"

Remember when we had homebrew here?

Honestly, all I've seen is "has NAND R/W access", which means possibility of downgrading potentially. Downgrading would be neat, especially for the N3DS/XL people.

I can't buy into the hype yet. While the possibility of downgrading would be spectacular, I'm not going to get my hopes up; it seems too good to be true.
That's smart. I don't need to worry about this particular bit of hype though. Check my sig, you'll understand, haha

I was more eager to get all of my stuff transferred to my N3DSXL when I got it, that I updated to do so. This wasn't long after I got Cubic Ninja from Gamestop for $5. I've even got OoT and a save dongle, just nothing to do with it except NH2.0, which has been keeping me busy with some SNES games I've been meaning to play.

I don't even know what that is, and Smealum always says I guess his hints correctly. Maybe a way to load your Eshop games from Ninjhax with some sort of add-on thing? Like cheats or his save editor or something?
It's a title launcher apparently.

he just did that (don't think this is piracy, it likely just launches legit apps)
I do find it interesting that "amInit()" is called though. Hmm.

He did say that he has stuff we don't know about in Ninjhax 2.0 so maybe he found another way to obtain some services that were patched? Either through another smaller exploit or something. Who knows though. I am not an expert at this stuff. :P

My guess would be he's going to implement the save data utility to ninjhax the same way he implemented regionfour. This time once you select the save data utility app it will ask you to choose the tittle you are going to edit the saves with. you'll be able to scroll between your phisical and installed games and choose one to edit

Most likely. I thought that installed game's saves are encrypted though?
