I received my Gateway Cards in the mail today and after a lot of digging around I finally found out how to get them to work...at least, I think I did.

I'm using a 2DS with 9.0.0-20U. (According to the manual that should be fine).

Long story short, I started with the official instruction manual on the Gateway 3DS website. I scrolled down to the section for updating the Red Cart, and I saw that I needed to get into Gateway mode first. So I downloaded the 3.3 Ultra Beta zip and extracted the contents. I put the launcher.dat on my system's SD Card, inserted the SD Card and the Red Cart with MicroSD into the system, then navigated to http://go.gateway-3ds.com.

I hit okay and eventually it updated my Red Cart. Then when it said it was done, I restarted my device like it told me to, and the multi rom selector worked! I hit select and I saw 5 different 3DS roms I had on the MicroSD. I launched Star Fox 3D and it played fine for a few minutes...then I moved on to the Blue Cart so I could play NDS games.

That's when things went wrong-- I moved the contents of the "Blue Card (R4i)" folder onto the MicroSD, but when I tried running "Deep Labyrinth" I just got "An error has occurred. Press and hold the POWER button..." etc etc.

Now the Red Cart doesn't work either-- the system doesn't recognize it, and SELECT doesn't bring up the selector. When I try to navigate to go.gateway-3ds.com again, it just loads for a second then quits at a black screen with "Gateway 3DS is loading...".

I have tried reformatting the MicroSD on the Blue Card and using H2testw on it. It's perfect with no errors. I've also tried formatting the system SD card to reset the 2DS from scratch. Still no luck getting either card to work. I have also tried the suggested "turn off wi-fi, delete browser cookies/cache, then go to go.gateway-3ds" thing but that isn't helping either.

I know that it isn't an issue with the 2DS because I have played a retail cart on this system, and I've used a separate R4 SDHC/Dual-Core card on it to run NDS games.

Help please! Thank you. I am new to 3DS carts so I probably messed up somewhere, or I'm missing something super obvious.

Edit: Currently testing the MicroSD card I have in the Red Cart with H2testw. Will report back in awhile...program is estimating an hour or longer. Looks like the Red Cart's MicroSD card is fine.

Edit 2: I should add that the "Hold L and then select System Profile" thing isn't opening the Gateway menu either.

The blue card dosent work on 9.x firmware without removing the whitelist which blocked certain flashcards this can be sorted. You need to find the blue card fix cia and import that. As for the red card that should still work fine. Did you make an emunand cause that will delete the launcher.dat off the internal sd. Check your sd

How do I import the Blue Card fix cia? I did notice that in the ZIP from the official Gateway site. I tried copying/pasting it into the Blue Card's MicroSD and that didn't seem to make any difference. (If it matters, I put the .cia file into root)

I didn't make an emunand, but I've reformatted the Internal SD and replaced the Launcher.dat multiple times with the Gateway one and that hasn't made any difference.

Double check your sd for launcher then try this mirror site
http://go.gateway.maki-chan.de
As for the cia you need to import a cia installer then import the bluecard fix. You either need bbm devmenu or fbi.

Hmm I tried that mirror site and the original and now i'm getting "Failed to load part of the page", the app hanging for a few seconds, followed by the Internet Browser app crashing and giving me "An error has occurred. Please save any data in your software currently in use, and then restart the system."

(I double checked the Internal SD card and the launcher.dat is the correct one, the one provided by Gateway.)

I'm using 2DS, O3DS and XL, New 3DS and XL. All installed bluecardfix.cia on sysNAND and none bricking. Don't be an exception :D
Okay cool. Just installed Blue card fix cia. Now I was wondering when you mentioned I need to boot into GW mode, do I do that through the DS exploit or still the internet exploit?

EDIT: I mean from GW mode to sysNAND?
EDIT AGAIN: I wasn't really reading it properly sorry. o-o

Have you installed bluecardfix.cia already? Make sure it is on sysNAND. If yes, copy GW_INSTALLER.NDS and run it to the bluecard or using web browser>GW Launcher to install NVRAM. After that, you can use DS Profile (Assume that you've already downgraded mset)

I have installed it but do I put the GW installer on the blue card or the external sd card?

Also I didn't downgrade my mset. Still new to the 3Ds GW world (even though here since November) and I don't know if I have it.
