The mset entry point was patched with the 7.X mset, and support was recently added for 6.X mset,so you don't need to downgrade it if you're already on 6.X.

neat. if i do a system format to unlink emunand from nand, do I have to reinstall anything to SysNand?

You will need to use the code.bin again, that's all.

Mset is supported on all firmwares now, but you need to have either the 4.X or the 6.X mset installed. (the rxTools downgrade option install the 4.X one)

I use both of them, BBM for games & FBI for system things.

Again, I'm having the failed to install data error. NOTHING works. The older rxTools 3.0 beta boots fine, and the newer versions all fail.

If I install data using the older 3.0 beta, and then replace the rxTools.dat with a newer version, it gives me the error, but rxMode boots just fine using the data created by the older version (last one before 6.x MSET). So clearly, my firmware.bin and all the files are good.

There's something weird going on here. And I see other people are being affected as well. Sadly I'm not sure what is it, but whatever it is it started on 3.0b5.

Has the internet browser freezing while a game is running been fixed? It's what's keeping me from using version 3.0. I like to use shuffleshop but can't since the internet browser freezes causing me to do a hard reboot.

Of rxTools? 2.6. Can't use anything higher as it causes the internet browser to freeze.

Have you tried this one ? It has mset support for 4.X+. But you can't use the 3.0 (and themes) for now. Wait for the official release.

Download 0004003000009402.cia v4096 (USA only) with 3DNUS like that :

Then boot rx-mode in emunand , install & launch FBI, switch to "nand mode" and "delete mode", search for "0004003000009402" (triple check) and delete it.
Switch back to "install mode" but stay in "nand mode" and install your previously downloaded 0004003000009402.cia.

You have downgraded your browser.

- 0004003000009402 v4096 for USA
- 0004003000008802 v4096 for JAP

Pakrett, my fellow chap, you got to stop telling people to use delete mode, and start telling people to use FBI 1.4.2, because it can overwrite any title even if the version number is higher than the cia you are attempting to install
