Hardware My 3DS died?

well I was playing and closed it, but it fellt on the floor :v I opened again and it gave the " removed cart" message , I turned off , but when I try to turn on again, only thepower light goes for a second, it makes an " poc" sound and the go off again ...
It's something possible to repair?it's an o3DS

Updates:
I've got a new top screen and ribbon cable of speakers and 3D stuff
A friend lend me his o3DS to test out my parts
The screen worked, the ribbon, even testing with multmeter and everything looking ok, don't seens to work.

-How It's now (19/07)
I've made it work turn on both screens!(with my friend's ribbon)
if I press and hold this connector down and turn the system on, it light the blue power led, the backlight of both screens and the wireless light (just on, not blink )
also no sound come from the speakers so the system isn't booting ...

What I could do now?

Are you able to start the recovery menu?
Otherwise try to open your 3DS. Possibly a connection-wire is unplugged or something like this.

EDIT: WIll go to sleep now. I hope you're able to fix this!

Sounds like one of the ribbon cables got unseated of damaged. Should be a relatively easy fix (well except for opening the 3DS, that's the hard part)

yeah it will be the top screen's ribbon cable knocked loose, not that hard to fix assuming you have basic knowledge with opening/fixing stuff like mobile phones etc....if not you might be able to ask a local repair shop, just make sure they know you know what the issue is so they dont try rip you off and say it needs a bunch of work, its like 99% likely to just be a loose cable and will be a 10-15 min fix with no new parts needed

well it all makes sense xD I'm able at least to open a DSlite and change hosing/replace top screen (did two actually), I'm just not good at soldering so I think I could give a it try ... I Will look for assebling/disasembling videos and try it them ... wish me luck :x

yeah dont worry it is about on par with the difficulty of switching housings on the DS lite, if not a bit easier as there is no annoying hinge stuff to do, might also be worth just checking if its the wifi card loose, personally any i have done have always been the LCD/speaker ribbon loose, but while looking for a video guide some people said just re-seating the wifi adapter worked for them, so might be worth a shot and would save you taking the motherboard etc out

yeah make sure you get a good quality screwdriver to unscrew it, the o3DS are usually in pretty tight, if you use a crappy screw driver set the screws will probably end up worn down which makes it 10 times harder

I didin't make sure so I needed to drill 2 of then that I couldn't rake off >3>
well I re fited the wifi card but the problem remains .. I think I have to go deeper x3x

ok ... I disasembled with care and reconected.mounted everything right (I hope so... there was lacking two screws :v ) but sae thing happening :/

Generally one of two things usually causes the pop-and-power off problem with original 3DS. Either a loose/damaged speaker cable (connector is labelled P7 on the board) or a loose/damaged backlight cable for the lower LCD (connector P12). Reseat these two and test. If the LCDs were bad you wouldn't hear the popping sound, so you can rule those out for now. If the problem isn't solved by reseating the ribbon cables in the P7 and P12 connectors, then the speaker cable is likely damaged and will need to be replaced (there's a slim chance of it being the lower screen backlight cable, but that's unlikely to be damaged from a fall). There's a guide to replace the speaker cable on iFixit, but it's by far one of the hardest repairs to do on a 3DS.

I tried opening it up and making sure the ribbon cables were intact. Seemingly they were, but I wasn't careful enough, impatient, and it took hours due to my inexperience. Basically, I made it so the DS lite couldn't be fixed, even fucking up the bottom screen. Granted, it was a used system, and only 2 months after I got it, did this happen. Still, it's my fault. So, be careful, I assume the 3DS structure isn't totally dissimilar to DS lite.

man the first DSlite I opened, I just broke the top screen flat D: even with the screen 100% I needes to replace this
and was a friend's DSlite :v but everything turned out ok after all ...

Well the 3DS actually is kinda simplier and less unsafe than DSlite ... just have lot of flat cable conecting everything from everything XDD

Thanks! I ACtually re-set everything but it still the same ... I think I should try to turn it on outside the housing but if it only this cable I just hope I can find it somewhere ... els ei will have to import :B

One thing I forgot to mention is that if you go into a very dark room and try powering on the system you may notice that one of the LCDs flashes very, very briefly before the system shuts off. If the bottom screen flashes, it means the problem is the speaker cable.

well I tried it at dark and I saw no flashes :/ vould be because I alread discontecd and recoected te stuff ... I need to get a time to try again

Even if neither screen flashes, I would still guess that the speaker cable or the P7 connector itself is the problem. Other than replacing it though, I don't think there's any easy way to know 100% for certain.

updating my position , I got the new speaker ribbon, changed it and now I don't get the *POC* or the power led, just the 3D led bling and go off :/

Edit: well I noticed the speaker cable where upside down lol but now I got the same first problem ....
