I got a lot of DL'ed pc games on my computer so many that take up my whole desktop screen forcing me to make folders just for the shortcuts I like how steam is with showing up picture titles of games you bought from steam and I am wondering if there is anything like that for non steam games that weren't bought from steam. I have many games from gog.com and other places... I'd like a interface like steam for them that I can launch them from.

GoG actually recently released a Steam-like platform that you can use for all your DRM free titles if you like. It basically just acts like a DRM free version of Steam with access to the shop, friends, achievements, etc., with the ability to maintain releases through their client, as well as backing up still 100% DRM free. It's also worth noting that you can manually add games from your computer to either library, although at least with Steam, only games bought through Steam have anything more than a "play" button. It's mostly for the sake of game organization.

Yeah, that's what I am looking for something is organize my game shortcuts and possibly make things look more presentable in a way like steam does. It's just most of my games aren't "steam bought games" and more like games I've installed from discs with the gog games.

Like I said, you can add games to your Steam game list that you didn't buy through Steam. They won't be filled with Steam features, but it can be a convenient way to organize and launch all of your games.

You can use Steam offline, but the caveat is that you have to log into Steam and then go offline to access their offline mode. As long as Steam stays functional, that isn't a huge issue since Steam isn't a big memory eater on its own, but it can be slightly inconvenient if you forget at any point. As far as I can tell from the GoG client, it can be launched and run offline with no extraneous requirements. You may want to double check that yourself though, as I only read about the client on the GoG site and haven't tried it myself.

Just a note on adding non-Steam games, you can actually set icons and custom images to non-Steam games when you're using the grid layout for your library. So @OP if you're interested in just seeing icons and such, you can just add non-Steam games and give them custom images.
