Hardware bought a predicted unicorn amiibo

hi everyone

just bought a palutena amiibo because it was the only one i've seen in any shop of my city. I've been googling a bit and it seems that it's going to be an unicorn one, so what should i do? do i wait to sell it?

Jokes aside, the Shulk Amiibo got a re-run, but is still sold out everywhere and people STILL are selling it for $40 on ebay. So, if Palutena really is an unicorn, it will probably be valuable even months from now.

My personal advice: please don´t do that, if you want to sell, sell for a reasonable price. You got lucky to find it in a store for $12.99 and maybe you don´t want it, but there´s no reason to try to make someone pay 4 times it´s value. I collect only the characters I like and I´m already tired of every Amiibo being labeled as "rare" and overpriced as soon as it launches. I bet you would be pissed if you were looking for a product and only scalpers had it.

If I´m not mistaken, the categories are: common, semi-rare, rare and unicorn. Unicorn would be those Amiibos that are said to exist, but many people never saw, like Rosalina.

Yeah, it´s an idiot system, but this is the internet.

He probably meant to say "rare" or "unique". One of the mistranslations that happens from Spanish to English.

Maybe he thought of using 'único' and the auto-translator turned it to 'unicorn'. lol

I had thought you stumbled across a rare Palutena-unicorn amiibo which happen to have her as a, well.. a unicorn. Those Japanese, squids and hentai got me thinking of the possibilities. lol

Nintendo Store of UK only ships within UK, IIRC.

My ZSS, Palutena, Dark Pit and others are still yet to be dispatched by Zavvi (also from The Hut Group which Nintendo Store is part of, as well as The Hut).

amiibos that were once rare and expensive tend to appear every now and then for its SRP. Just not Gold Mario amiibo but fuck it, it's just a sprayed in gold plastic figure. No big deal.
