The NAND dump option is just a placeholder for when it does come out.

I didn't ever run pasta but I do know it once had nand dumping which wasn't working. but still, my question was whether pasta is still being actively developed by anyone (including the NAND dumping feature).

Ahh no. the nand dump feature is in fact there, but isn't working. I've looked at it and can't figure out why it doesn't work (dumps garbage).

Nand dumping in my fork of decrypt9 works though which I tried implementing in pasta but still doesn't work for some reason, there's something I'm missing and i don't know what it is.
(and no I'm not part of the pasta "team")...

have you tried to implement your decrypt9 nand dump method into our source, and launching it through the official brahma launcher ? (we may have removed important memory assignments from brahma, so that might help)

Don't think I've tried that no, forget if i did to be honest. Will have a look in a bit.

Nope doesn't work. I tried both the 9.3 and 9.6 amiibo settings app and they don't launch. There must be something else to it.
9.6 --> Won't work
Now, the true thing to update is the NFC module, not the amiibo settings (but you can still install it to edit the settings of your amiibos).

Theme selection from settngs is done, check out latest commit! https://github.com/capito27/Pasta-CFW

No release for now: I'll release a pasta update once i finish the random theme selection ;)

THEME SELECTION STRUCTURE:
sdmc/3ds/PastaCFW/UI/ contains 9 folders:
-0 <--- HERE GOES THE DEFAULT THEME
-1
-2
-3
-4
-5
-6
-7
-8
-9

Put custom themes in folders from 1 to 9 and select them from settings!

ATTENTION! YOU HAVE TO UPDATE THE 3DSX FILE, THE COMPANION APP AND THE LOADER.BIN, OR YOU'LL GET CRASHES!

The 10-hours maintenance will be finished in one hour and a half...
A new update for the Wii U? For the 3DS? For nothing?

Yes, perhaps a DSi update... (very very very unlikely)
I bet on a 3DS update.
in all seriousness, it might be a Eshop restructuration followed by a little, non-feature-packed update for 3ds and wii u, to prevent eshop spoofing from working ?

If it is an eShop restructuration, why is eShop not affected by this maintenance? (Only online play is affected. For all games.)

Pasta CFW doesn't support 128gb sdcard (formatted FAT32) ?
I've tried on my new 3ds xl and transcend 128gb sdcard, but had no chance.

No problem until homebrew launcher.
When I boot Pasta with holding L-button, it crashes or goes black screen.
Without holding L-button, it goes to home screen, but signature checks not patched.

If I copy all files in 128gb sdcard to 32gb one, Pasta works flawlessly.

did you even end up with an icon? I played around with it, installing both 9.3 and 9.6 amiibo files, along with the NFC, and didn't get anything, really. Even went as far as updating the home menu. Yea... that bricked me. But I love it. Something evil yet satisfying about bricking my stuff on purpose then reflashing it (when I'm not in a hurry to go anywhere, anyway...)

Yeah it seems that the maximum sd size is 32GB. @Witalka_Shelby tried a 64GB samsung sdcard but it didn't worked too

I use a 64GB card and it works fine. What speed is yours? Perhaps it is too slow. Most 128GB cards are really slow as well. You might want to leave it alone on the black screen for a minute or two before deciding that it doesn't work. Forgot the speed of mine, but it's a SanDisk Ultra microSD XC, class 10.
