As VerseHell says, creating a dbs folder with title.db and import.db fixes my issue. Now I can run GBA games in sysnand from DevMode with Rxtools. Just hold X while booting Rxtools to boot Rx-S and enjoy your GBA games.

I already did the DBS folder... i am gonna try to format my sysnand so...

OK this is surreal:

i formated my sysnand twice and the H&S app IS GONE. ._.

I think i am gonna give up on GBA games... :/
I really don't want to restore my sysNAND (i have an backup in my HD) i am gonna continue with 3DS games...

The H&s app was gone for me too after formatting sysnand. But I still injected FBI into the H&S app anyways, then it suddenly appeared on my menu. I then had to restore my nand because I installed GBA games to the nand. I then formatted again just in case it was relinked.
Then I created a dbs folder with title.db in it as you usually would do to be able to install cia to sysnand. Then I installed the patched AGB firm to sysnand, and installed all the GBA games.
One game worked, but as soon as I restarted it and tried again, the game never booted up again. So I used Rxtools MOD and installed the AGB firm to emunand, and installed all the games. Once I was in GBA mode, the games work fine in emunand.

Yep, both sys and emu nand must be AGB firm patched, and have the same exact games installed to both. And you must be in GBA mode using CFW switcher. Then you can launch the GBA games in emunand. Just know that if you close out a game, the whole 3DS restarts so make sure you pick the game you really want to play!

Omg, all this just to run gba games in region changed emunand? Hahaha

I have a o3ds with no region change and linked nands and everything works flawless whitout having to install anything on sysnand... Well, I am gonna try this tomorrow.

Reading the past three pages about GBA games not working in emunand, I'm having the same exact issue here on my O3DS.
My nands are unlinked and I'm trying to play GBA games on emunand 9.8. I already uninstalled/installed patched AGB_Firm and even switched to GBA mode using this mod. When I boot a game (Pokemon Emerald, or Pokemon Fire Red), I get an error screen and it asks me to power off. I'm gonna try other GBA games, maybe the pokemon games just don't work.

Out of stupidity, I thought I read somewhere that you need GBA games on both sys and emu nands to use it on emunand. So I installed the patched AGB_Firm on sysnand and tried installing a GBA game cia (In Dev Mode, using the health and safetey app for FBI), and it gets an error not letting me install the game in SD destination. But when I switch to NAND destination, the games install fine. I'm glad this didn't brick or anything o_0

I only have patched AGB_FIRM patched in my EmuNAND, my SYSNAND it's a -4 so it haves no AGB firm.
With that, I am able to use AGB in EmuNAND.
I only installed the GBA games in my EmuNAND
I tested my method (Update emunand with sysUpdater, uninstall original agb with FBI, install patched AGB with BBM and done) in 2 O3DS and 4 O3DSXL and in my console and this works, please, try that method in a fresh SD with a fresh EmuNAND

Also, can you make a working MSET .nds exploit? The one included in rxTools doesn't work.

it works in my 4.5.0-4E SYSNAND
I used the MSET in rxTool 2.3

if it says FAILED you will have to install GW MSET and then install RX MSET and it will work

Is it possible to use the MSET exploit on 9.0 with downgraded MSET on o3DS? Roxas seems to have updated rxtools with better support for mset downgrading. Some say that they saw somewhere that someone got Mset working for booting rxtools on 9.0.

Also GBA games, do they work naturally on emunand now with rxtools 2.6 without the need for the cfw switcher?

I have not tryied to run rxTools 2.6 from MSET in O3DS 9.0, so I do not know if it works.

If you download the new firmware.bin and install the CFW files, GBA games will work in EmuNAND from rxTools 2.6

If you want to switch to rxTools 2.6, just update the rxTools.dat and done, does not matter if you are in GBA or Smash mode.

My software just switch modded rxTools.dat in the SD card. One is HWCF1.BIN (GBAMode) and the other one is HWCF2.BIN (SmashMode). My app renames one of these to rxTools.dat and then re-start the 3DS, leaving the other file in the SD card to switch when you want.

It didn't say failed at all. It only worked when i used a code.bin
