I just got off the phone with Nintendo after deleting Super Smash Bros. U and discovering that I could no longer download it. They are launching an investigation about why the back office deleted my right to the game. They said I might have to purchase this game again even though the history shows that I downloaded it with my NNID. They said they completely disconnected the game from my NNID. What the fuck? I really hope that I don't have to purchase it again. Because if I do, I will make them give me credit because that is bullshit. What do you all think? Has this ever happened to any of you?

Edit: They finally got back to me and fixed the problem.

I wish nintendo got their online together. They would have such a great marketplace if they allowed indie devs , and upgraded their online to a standard like psn or xbox live

Didn't you just mention how Microsoft screwed you over with their service?

Doesn't take away the fact that their online service is still lightyears ahead of Nintendo's. Sure Microsoft service is subpar, but they have xbox live, the party system, all these extras that give it a complete feel. Same with the now ps4 psn. Nintendo just needs to catch up

This is why i stick with discs. They CANT BE DELETED. They are not locked to a console.
Good digital service or not, physical Media will always be Superior.
And you can SELL them! It is sort of like actually owning the game and having personal property rights. Amazing concept.

I 100% agree with you here. I always (if possible) go with physical releases.

Of course physical copy is always superior when it comes to consoles, I don't think there is any argument there haha
