Is it easier to use ar codes from previous games for remakes, or it doesnt matter since the new values still need to be found?

For example, Devil Survivor on the DS had a bunch of neat codes.

Is it possible to get these working on the 3DS remake? Or would you need to pretty much start from scratch?

Anyone figured the different color shy guy on mario kart 7? People with download play can only use them but it would be awesome to play online with an yellow or blue shy guy :)

I will be trying to find this code in a few days when i get back into it, im busy at the moment moving house so dont have time at the moment.

if you can send me your infinite magic code and the blue magic i will look at it and im guessing the memory region maybe similar to each other (your code) and the value
the infinite blue magic meter code is on geckocodes under the game ID NARE and it was made by Anarion. it changes the value of the address to 0xFF which activates the chateau romani-obtained infinite blue magic meter with a side effect of activating the music house in Ikana Canyon as if the song of storms was played in the back cave to run the well thus playing the music.

what do you think I'm trying to do right now? RetroBoy basically proved already that it is easier to simply port codes to their remakes using a shared difference. for example, the difference between health and rupee addresses are the same between the n64 version of Majora's Mask and the remake so all that was needed was to calculate the difference in the old codes and add or subtract the difference by the rupee code address. currently i have been testing an attempt to port the bottle modifier codes only to find them overwriting items with bottles containing chateau romani - my test value. good news: most of the values like for health, rupees, and items for the bottle modifier are the same. bad news is not all codes share the same shift difference when a game is remade for 3ds and have to be found again. also not being able to freeze values limits options for most codes unless NTR debugger is used to apply codes. testing codes and +0x2 shifts on the fly even without NTR debugger certainly is useful in case memory shifts are off by just a little bit and can be found simply by testing.

My browser doesn't crash, it just says running exploit then does nothing other than failed to load a part of the page.

I'm on 9.8 emunand on a Gateway and I think my O3DS is running 7.4? sysnand or something?

Do I still need to downgrade my browser or something on emunand??

edit: i appreciate the crimson shroud codes btw

Yah need to downgrade your browser. Best way is with sysupdater

Level-5 did the most stupid thing they could do: Linking features between light and Shadow versions.

I want to fight Team Zero and access this content BUT I don't know someone who have the game and I can't use the regular way. (because you need to have 2 games with 3 3DS systems and both games have to be completed... If there wasn't this condition, all I had to do was install a CIA on another system to simply do the link between the games... But I'm not gonna beat two games with 3 differences...)

Is it possible to unlock the linking features with an ARcode? I couldn't find anything in the ARC code database...
