I used 0.4b last night on a new 3ds and upgraded my Emunand to 9.5.0-22 USA, you downloaded the wrong files in 3DNUS.

But other users have verified that they used the same files but used sysupdater 0.4 ....... And they soft bricked...... This is confusing....

make_cia is crashing on my computer. I'm on a 32bit win7 I'm wondering if I need to be on a 64. Do you know if there's a decent exe floating around. I've got some pretty cool Japanese eshop titles that are begging for a release

Use 0.3 it works great... And updating an emunand is not exactly like updating a sysnand. Exemple : you can update your emunand with devmen, bbm or fbi but don't try it on sysnand.

Try Windows 7 x64.

Its really simple type the firm you want into 3DNUS, the region usa/jpn/eur/kor tc..., and select new or old 3ds and pack the files as CIA
drag those files into a folder called updates onto the root of your sd/msd and install sysupdater to emunand or sysnand, launch it then click upgrade

No the right files, I made sure O3DS, 9.2* etc. EUR
I'm not the only one though, most people who have tried had the same problem, even some vet's tried.

Maybe you're lucky, I have no idea.

I see, you did 9.5*. Maybe that's why you succeeded with 0.4, who knows?

when you typed 9.2 did you type the entire firmware word for word like 9.2.0-20 then in the version tab EUR

Hello, I'm trying to launch PastaCFW 1.2 using NinjaHax but when I launch it from NinjaHax menu it says "an error detected system must restart now" what could i be doing wrong? I installed the files in 3ds/PastaCfw folder along with loader.bin etc.

I followed the text instructions on the first post, didn't do anything else.

The issue I had last week isn't fully solved with the current PASTA CFW 1.2, this time it does go up but stops at 95% and gives me this error.
This is done with resetting the "corrupt" title.db and import.db

Fortunately, I used my physical launch cartridge of Super Smash Bros 3DS to update the firmware to 8.1.0E and it now works.
Got New Super Mario Brothers 2 Special Edition running.

Has anyone tried installing
The Legend of Zelda Four Swords Anniversary Edition DSiware
without well... bricking the system,
I don't want to take a risk until I know whether or not it is safe to do it or wait for a solution sometime in the future as a non-GW/Sky3DS user?

Another question, can you get banned for playing online in out of region games? Mario Kart 7 Japanese on EUR 3DS and NNID for example.

No, he can only play it with a legit CIA, at least on the old 3DS. It is because the game do a soft-reset to get more resources AFAIK.

Sorry, do you need a physical cartridge of Cubic Ninja. But now nop90 is working in a SPIDER port, so you would play newer games without CN soon

So Smash Bros doesn't work with PastaCFW? with old3DS 9.2 + CN? I thought that I heard somene in this thread post something about that the game works fine.

I had the Cubic Ninja, installed a lot of games, MH4 included, but smash doesnt' run.
I tried run via the BBM, but still doesnt work.

Hey, I have an O3DS on 9.2 and very recently I stupidly deleted my title.db and thus I have to redownload all my stuff, so might as well downgrade to 4.5 and use the MSET exploit. I do remember someone saying that you could be on 9.2 and have MSET exploit by not installing certain CIAs with sysupdater, does that still apply?

Not very useful as nothing supports launch via MSET on 9.x

I did the exact same thing and found that MSET was kinda useless.
