Okay I haven't been active in a while but I'd like some help from a few people.
I have my O3DSXL and my N3DSXL. I'd like to do a system transfer. O3DSXL is on 9.2. N3DSXL is on 9.0.
1. Do I have to update any of my systems (which isn't happening) in order to perform the system transfer?
2. Is there a suggested way to transfer my data that's been used through Gateway from my O3DSXL to my N3DSXL? I know it won't transfer as well as any .cia installed games regularly.
3. If I don't need the update how should I go about the transfer?
Thanks in advance guys.

If I remember correctly, when I went to EB games to transfer my data from one 3DS to the other when I was getting a replacement, the target system was at a lower firmware, and had to be updated to the current firmware before we could transfer my data.
