Gaming Should there be a GTA for 3DS?

I think it would be awesome. And I want a normal camera view, not like the chinatown wars.
Maybe rockstar making a 3D port of GTA: 3, Vice City, And or GTA: San Andreas.

I'm afraid the 3DS might have issues pulling off any of those games, remember Snake Eater 3D, better known as Metal Gear Solid 3: 15FPS Edition - Framerate Eater? Yeah. The New 3DS would probably be a better platform for a port like that, but preferably I'd like to see a portable GTA on the PSVita - it seems like no-brainer to me.

I really don't care about the 3D GTAs, I want more Chinatown Wars. It's the only GTA game I liked enough to finish it. (although I have only played Chinatown Wars and the PSP ones, but those ones are pretty good afaik) That said, the 3DS would probably be a pretty shitty platform for it, if only because GTA on Nintendo = no sales.

Actually I am not really that interested in a 3D GTA port for 3DS, I actually hated the ones on PSP.
And perhaps it has problems handling those games, but I think MGS3D is no good for comparison, as it should be called MGS Lazy Porting Edition (and hell it is annoying).
Anyway, I guess only a very downgraded version of GTA3 should run OK, but who knows.

Well, since Gta 3 on Pc needs only 96 MB ram(at low) and a 450 MhZ Cpu(Single Core) it should run on a New 3ds!

The game was cops and robbers and then that evolved fairly quickly -- nobody wants to be the cop, it's more fun to be bad. And then that evolved into Grand Theft Auto

Maybe they could do it as a topdown game like the PS1 ones. I doubt Rockstar would really go for it, though. I don't know many people into GTA myself. It's never interested me, as I never got into open-world games. I doubt Rockstar sees the 3DS market that profitable for those kinds of games. Maybe the PS Vita, if it was doing better.

I would like a GTA for 3DS but I don't think we'll have one.
China Town wars came when the DS was so successful that it was almost obligatory to release a game for it.
Now we have those ridiculous mobiles... They'll prefer to release just for mobile if they ever attempt to make a new portable GTA.

mature games on nintendo platforms just don't sell, and top down gta's wont sell on any platform it seems
