It doesn't work. What good is a compiled verison of something that doesn't work?

well, if it could load brahma.3dsx (it might not load the homebrew launcher, but it might work for an homebrew (and since brahma get's arm9 by itself, it could work, even if it is a chance in a quadrillion...? ) ) and if so, it would be enough to launch the CFW...but i don't have enough knowledge about spiderninja's curent state to tell.

Too bad there will never be a day where CFW can be loaded without the need of a hard-to-find game
Well, what exploits do we have?

  • Supposed Mii Maker exploit
  • MSET exploit (O3DS only)
  • Webkit exploit (O3DS only)
  • Cubic Ninja
  • Ocarina of Time
Unless you only have an N3DS, I would hardly say that there will never be a day with a CFW that doesn't require a hard-to-find game.

wait, sorry, I'm an idiot who needs to be spoonfed this stuff, does this mean I can boot into this CFW with Cubic Ninja on my 9.0 PAL n3DS, and install the GBA virtual console games to the sysnand? If so, that's amazing.

Sky3DS. But only once, as an entry point. After which, you install the mset exploit and go to "Settings - Profile - Nintendo DS Profile". Then bam! You're on CFW. That would be nice. But someone needs to port it first...

Last time I tried (and I could compile it just fine), it just failed at stage at the svc_controlMemory call of stage "100%" (100% is a lie there! A lie!).

There needs to be a spider hax version of this (for o3DS). Figures this happens right after I had to sell my Cubic Ninja game. :(
Had to sell? You gone bankrupt or something?

wellllll.....there still is this github with a shine of hope for O3DS, but i guess that yifan_lu has no plans to finish it....

(BTW, yifan_lu , would it be too much to ask you for a compiled version of the curent spiderninja ?)

It'll be much harder to finish spiderninja than to just port your cfw directly to spider using archshift's decrypt9 as a starting point for arm9.

I see brahma can be used as a library, it should be easy enough to call it from a code.bin (or a msetforboss.dat/launcher.dat homebrew) to launch Pasta CFW without CN no?

So, there is the list of planned enhancements :
-firmware spoofing (both games and online)
-MSET support

There is the list of HYPOTHETICAL enhancements :
-emuNAND?
What we want:
  • emuNAND
  • Webkit exploit support
  • MSET exploit support
  • Noob friendly tutorial
  • No need for sending a cia over the network

This is awesome!
Is there a way in which we can use a SD that has a Gateway emunand along with this?
I'm freaking dying to move my Four Swords DSiWare to my N3DS but I can't so far. :(

Doesn't work like that. spider3dstool was never meant for homebrew development. It was just a POC for reversing GW's launcher. It's not designed to work with any library including ctrulib. That's what spiderninja was supposed to do.
