Hey everyone, I am having problems with my 3ds XL d pad and I couldn't find any solutions for this problem. I got 3ds 2 days ago and everything worked normaly, but today in game it looks like the arrow is stuck on up, left and right are working normaly and down option is not responding at all. Do anyone know what to do to fix this problem? Thanks.

You got it 2 days ago?
Go to the store and ask for a replacement?
I suppose that if you want it fixed yourself you will need to open it and look what is happening under the hood...

I can only suppose it is a physical problem related to the D-Pad... the 3DS XL doesn't seem too hard to open, so if it was me I would just open it and look what is going on inside.
But my 3DS XL works perfectly at least for now (almost 3 years old and used frequently), so I haven't had to deal with this.

I guess that's the only thing to do. I mean it is not hard to open but what to look inside, I am totaly beginer when it comes to his hardware components.

I suppose it is not an electronic problem but a physical problem.
Perhaps the carbon contact is stuck to the board, or perhaps there is something (probably a piece of plastic) visibly broken under the d-pad.
Etc.
So the idea would be to look what is going wrong and then use your imagination to fix it, or at least then post some photo here and perhaps someone else comes up with an idea.

As long as there is no possibility of returning the item, you should look at the contacts for the d-pad on the underside of the motherboard. Dirt or corrosion could cause this problem. This guide will show you how to remove the motherboard. Once you have access to the contacts for the d-pad try cleaning them with >90% isopropyl alcohol and a cotton swab.

If cleaning them doesn't help, you may need to actually peel them up with your fingernail and clean beneath them. As long as you're careful, you can just stick them back down flat once you've finished cleaning and they should stay in place on their own once you screw the motherboard back down in place.

Sounds like something is out of place causing the "up" to make contact when you're not pressing it. Were you sure nothing was bent/out of place when you had it apart?

Well as much as I saw everything was in place, and for example today I turn it off and then the next day when I turn it on for the first time it works for like a minut all pads works normaly and then it starts going up very fast and then I can't do anything.
