My money is on the XLs, because of the different DS mode. Where can I place a bet?

yeah i think you are right but the good thing is we have an easy fix for it (ROPInstaller) so we can just wait & see what's the clever gw team going to unveil in their next release. :)

Again, that's not it, i'm on LL (japan XL). My bet is it has something to do with pre-existing Wireless profile for DS mode.
On my sysnand I haven't set Wirless profile for DS mode..

same here i did not set wireless profile for DS mode so it must be something else.

I won't read through the 48 pages, so I'll just ask. Does anyone else have trouble installing the mset cia? For me it just says "Invalid CIA" when I try to install it from BigBlueMenu (I assume this is what they were talking about when they said "DevMenu.3ds", or maybe I am just using a wrong CIA installer...). I also tried with FBI and this is the same. I tried to install this to my SysNAND and to my EmuNAND, the error is the same each time; and of course I cheked the cia was correct twice.
Can anyone help me? Thanks in advance!

Reading through one page would have answered that. They aren't the same.

Only read a few pages out of the 48, but it seems that the instructions that Gateway provided aren't 100% correct (seems like a lot of people are having issues, or there's more steps to take than what Gateway provided)? Is there a full step-by-step guide that someone may have whipped up?

Ok so here is another evidence that the XLs are losing the exploit after playing a DS game.

I wonder what might cause this.....does aynone understand the ROP stuff that gets installed in the NVRAM?
my AUS XL doesnt loose the exploit, it did once the first time i installed it but since then its stuck through everything
