For me, the exploit disappeared after launching my DSTwo... Wonder if there is a way to switch between GW and DSTwo without having to install NVRAM each time.

this is why i'm asking,i want to find out if this issue is related to nds flash cards only.

Aight, went ahead and installed it anyway, and all is well. This time though, a red LED lit up on the Gateway cart. I've never had this before, and didn't even know it was there. Does anybody know what it means?
You tripped the auto destruct sequence. :)

Hello? Hello?

Oh crap.

Anyone know how to reinstall the newer system settings menu? I backed up my NAND, but it seems when you format EmuNAND, that NAND backup disappears. I used that 3DSNUS 1.9 to download the 9.5 for the JPN N3DS, but there was a problem installing one of the CIA files needed, so I need to make a new EmuNAND, but it'll have the 4.5 system setting and not the newer one.

Would I just be fine using a new SD card and putting 9.2 on my SysNAND in Gateway mode?

Ugh. How hard would it have been to add that feature, GW? :glare:

Thanks for clearing that up, though. Say, I've never removed the back cover. Do you have any suggestions or caveats to bring up? What would you recommend me to use to pry it off? I've read that using the stylus like Nintendo recommends might result in chipping tiny bits off the back plate, so it's better to use a flathead screwdriver.
I have 3 n3ds and have removed the back plates so many times now I don't even need the stylus. My fingernail does it. Use the head of the stylus to pull straight up, do not pry like you were opening a watch to change the battery. I just keep my one of my small screwdriver sets at my desk. When you have two children you learn to have several of these sets spread throughout the house for changing batteries on toys.

Question, are their still reoccuring bans for gateway users or has that stopped?
No clue, I use cia for online. This isn't the appropriate thread for that question.

Wait do you still need cubic ninja and ocarina of time? :nayps3:

No you don't.

You never needed both of them anyway so feel free to get rid of one of them.
