no need to hide your ip, i'm sure it's a local ip so we cannot connect to it, it is basically only accessible on your network :)
(not sure about the number in the 'FS USER open directory' bit though, i don't know if that number is unique or not)

did you manage to generate your nand xorpad? :)
so you get to eshop, you are able to download the updates... when exactly does it crash?
how many times did you run it, it crashed every time?

It crashes as i'm in the middle of downloading the updates.

So I can't install this. It keeps giving me the "An error has occurred, forcing the software to close. The system will now restart error". And yes i have the ntr.bin on the sd card. Any ideas?

You're going to have to give us some more information. 3DS model, system software version, region etc...

How may attempts have you made to run it? It doesn't have a 100% success rate.

Try holding L+R+X+Y at the main menu to erase the save game and reinstall it.

Fair enough, N3DS, 9.0.0 USA
I've made atleast 15, all the same thing, and i've tried deleting it after each install

I scan the QR code, it blacks the top screen, and then goes to the homescreen with the error, with a variable amount of time between the blacking, and the returning to the homescreen.

Sorry it was taking so long to answer, was soldering an E3 linker

*edit* Oh god I'm a freaking idiot. I was connect to the internet, but completely forgot the i had my 3DS setup to go through a proxy, and didn't have the proxy setup. Its good now.

Thank you!
Is it enough to just rebuild the changed files into a new romfs?
Like: shrink the romfs.bin by rebuild only the changed files from 357MB to 3MB?
Will this work? The Paths of the files inside of the rebuilded, smaller romfs.bin are the same as the original ones

you dont have to rebuild the romfs if your using NTR, you simply have the files you intend to replace in a folder on the SD, you dont even need to have the whole romfs, layered FS will automatically use any files in the folder in place of the original in the romFS, so you can just have whats files have changed so for example if i am testing out a level for NSMB2 i would just have this on my SD
/*titleID*/course/1-1.sarc
and
/plugin/*titleID*/layeredFS.plg

and that would be enough for level 1-1 to be replaced.

so for HM3D i need something like
/*titleID*/Scripts/Common.nut
and
/plugin/*titleID*/layeredFS.plg

right?
And for my thing, the titleID is "00040000000EAE00" I guess?

yep, you need to extract the code.bin to create the layedFS.plg file for each specific game, im assuming the plugin would be fine to share right cell9? its just to get the offsets to apply the patch i assume

but yeah thats pretty much it, PS for quick testing you need to use the debugger to push files to the SD as removing it to copy files on will cause the game not to load the plugin the next time you start it....plus then you dont even need to exit the game

PS example command to replace a file would be like
sendfile('d:\\1-1.sarc', '/000400000007AF00/Course/1-1.sarc')

But I can't find a downloadlink for NTR CFW 1.0 and no tutorial that describes how to install it x_x
Can you post it for me?
