hello! recently i've been looking into picking an hackerable 3DS while trying to spend as little as i can, i'd love to pick a new 3DS if only because of the other analogue but i see a 2DS would be around 60$ cheaper so from your guys experience i was wondering what do you suggest a new 3DS or a 2DS?

if i get a 2DS will i risk getting one that is at a firmware higher than 9.2?

i already got a copy of cubic ninja ready for the ninjahax expoit

I would still suggest you check out the New 3DS. The head-tracking feature with Super Stable 3D is really good, and there MIGHT just be a chance you can find one on or below v9.2.

Edit: Another VERY IMPORTANT POINT, with the New 3DS, you will be able to play the new exclusive games that are coming for the N3DS and am sure there will be more of those in the future :)

i'm not really worried about finding one with the right firmware i'm more worried about spending more...

...but yeah i guess it's worth the price difference

I wouldn't recommend a 2DS, you don't get as much of a gaming experience, even if you rarely use the 3D mode IMO. For 60 bucks more you get an analogue stick, + 3D head-motion capturing, and some exclusive titles. It won't be long before it gets fully hacked anyways . . .
