Hiya,

The configuration that works with version 4.6.1 is that I boot into my real nand (don't use prebooter gui), from there I use nSwitch 2.2 to boot my emunand (only one emunand located under usb:\nands\nand1). My emunand is configured to boot straight into postloader, so after I press nSwitch i get the standard white text on black about emunand booting, after that I get the one line white text on black saying postloader booting. Once that is complete I get the postloader boot screen (the black and white one with the version number and copyright info), which then switches to the postloader theme background, I get a glimpse of the little loading circle animation and postloader starts and works normally.

With version 4.7.95, I just copied over the dol and the xml files into the app folder on my SD card. Following the above process I would get a screen dump right after the postloader theme backgroung appears with the loading circle animation.

Mind you, this version of postloader works fine in my real nand (started from the homebrew channel). If I press on the neek icon in postloader (real nand) the same happens at the same place.

It would seem that my emunand boots properly and once booted, the emunand priiloader boots postloader (as it was set up to do). So something in postloader disagrees with my neek2o for some reason. This is not a question of life and death ;-) as I can continue with 4.6.1....just that I'm curious as to why. Don't use any plugins or such.

I'll try some of the previous versions over the next few days and see if it is just 4.7.95.

Thanks for the details, sorry for responding so late, I think if I were in your situation I would start over again with just the base files needed to run Postloader. Maybe stick with the 4.7.95 version but remove your config file and all other files that are created after making your post-installation customizations. From there, run the app and let it create the files again. This is just what I would do, it may not the be the best approach but you just don't know what's conflicting with what right now.

Hi, did clean install on real nand, asks where I want config file, I select on USB and then I get the screen saying successfully created where I have to press 'Ok'. When I press 'Ok' it hangs... after reboot postloader on real nand works ok. Same procedure on emu nand, same question on config file and hangs in same place when I press 'Ok'. After reboot of the emu nand it loads postloader on the channel menu. When I select the games menu it crashes. Went into neek2o menu and did a game cache rebuild, back into postloader, and again when I choose the games menu it crashes.

Thanks for your help, but too buggy and I think I'll stick with 4.6.1.

An update from me.

The last version that doesn't crash on my emu nand is 4.7.92.

Versions 93, 94 and 95 all crash as described in post #4122 above.

See attached screen shots when booting neek and when version 95 of postloader crashes.

Hi.
I have two questions.

1. Is it possible to configure postloader to watch a specific (custom) folder for the homebrews?, if yes how?
2. what is the use of The advanced option USE PL3 CHANNEL TO RUN HOMEBREWS ?

Thanks

Ok, for real. I've looked everywhere. For ever.

In the OP it says, "Autoboot your default application/channel: If you don't press (A) in time to enter in interactive mode, postLoader will launch the predefined app (if enabled)". How do I set this? There is no documentation whatsoever.

So I followed the instructions as per the site told me to do so and Postloader keeps trying to install the game (GameCube) unto my SD card. I'm trying to get them to run solely from my USB.

Is there any form of remedy to this?

/please help/

It appears that Postloader is using Dios Mios as the default GC app. This app will copy GC games to the SD card before launching them. You need a GC app that will play from the USB drive (Devolution, Nintendont). If you already have one of these apps then you will need to set it as the default GC app within Postloader. Postloader doesn't actually launch the game, it launches the app that launches the game.

Sorry guys, https://www.dnsdynamic.org service has stopped working, so postloader.dnsdynamic.net is no more available... the new dns is http://postloader.mooo.com ;)

Sounds like I need to update postLoader to look there, as well as add support for the new Nintendont builds..been really busy lately..

Edit: Well, on my latest personal builds, the newest Nintendont seems to boot fine still. I'll push out an update for the new DNS server, but any new options they added to Nintendont will have to wait.

hey dax!
did you check this out yet: http://playstationhax.it/forums/top...between-dualshock4-and-wii-through-bluetooth/
it would be awesome to have wrappers for these new libraries they work via BT in wii homebrew,
looks like sicksaxis lib is getting deprecated.

No, I haven't. Does that library work with DS3 controllers too?

Edit: Oops. I saw he made another lib for DS3. I suppose this means libsicksaxis is obsolete now.

yeah both DS3 and DS4 have a git master page
if you wish to make 2 wrappers it would be really cool if you preserve the same variable and function names used in the old wrapper, since it was already integrated in many homebrews.

How do I get my channels/wads/wiiware from my emulated nand to show up on the postloader menu? It works when I select Neek, but I'd rather not use the system menu. Is the neek2obooter dol file for that then? I was going to try it, but I wasn't sure if the "neek2obooter.app" instructions were for my case. Also, there seem to be multiple files in the content folder, and I can't tell which one I'm supposed to rename. At the moment I just want emunand channels while keeping wii games at normal save mode.

How do you set postloader to boot Nintendont for my Gamecube games? I don't see an option for it anywhere. I'm using the latest version of both apps.
