Will we get something like 3ds's emunand on the Wii U? If not im afraid im going to chose DLC over this exploit (I really like ssb and mk8 Okay ) :/

That's the (eventual) goal. I'm just not sure when it'll happen (or how long it'll take Nintendo to patch our exploits after we release them some time soon)

When working on reaching that goal, I highly recommend thinking about possible methods of implementing future forms of encryption, just in case Nintendo goes on the same emuNAND-disabling route as what was done with the 3DS and New 3DS.

That's all Hykem right now, he's the one who's going down the route of an IOSU exploit to get this implemented.

I would bet money that a new system update is going to show up in the next month, implementing the settings we saw for Virtual Console (or at least some enhancements). It might be a good idea to have a set release date (after it's finished of course) so that Nintendo can't patch it right away (IE sometime late April/Early May in-between the two waves of games).

Also, now that I think about it, we shouldn't be afraid at all of Nintendo patching our stuff (other than the Webkit exploit) because even if the kernel exploit is patched, by the time an IOSU exploit is made, it should work on whatever the latest version is and come with emuNAND a very short while after release. We'll see how these next few months play out

I wanna redeem my DK tropical freeze man. Stupid club Nintendo is being attacked.

Might also order a second MM bag just for the heck of it with the remaining coins. I don't really care much for any of the other games they have up.

Damn did they surprise me with the option to choose how you want the screens to be set on both screens!

DK64 WAD will surely open up the possibilities for all the Rare games being injected, and even MORE!

I'm so ready to pick up Mario 64, just want to choose a gaming budget since I've definitely spent enough to last a looong time. Mario 64 will have to happen.

I never got the appeal of DK64, even as a kid. I never liked it as a kid, since I felt it was way too slow. I preferred the banjo games tbh. Though I love the character, I just never fell for the game.

The show was amazing though.

Hopefully the new update doesn't cover any holes so we can update cleanly. >.>

I never liked it as a kid neither, I just want to give it a try along with the Banjo/Conker games to see what I was missing.

That's on my todo list (it may require an IOSU exploit to access the /code directory or some clever memory dumping with TCPGecko, not sure how they handle it). Same with Wii VC.

I know you guys are saying that it would be wise to update to 5.3.2 right now before the next firmware will be released. But I bought a Wii U a couple of weeks ago and it has 5.2.0. So my question is: If I don´t care about eShop and other online stuff then it should be ok to stay at 5.2.0 since the exploit will be released to that firmware as well?

I´ve read a lot and I´m sorry if this has been asked before. But you´re focusing on 5.1.x-something and it shouldn't be a problem to convert it to other firmwares? But I just would like a verification that it will be released to 5.2.0 also.
