Hacking QQ3DS vs Sky3DS -- Why are people buying Sky instead?

Pretty soon they'll be releasing their 3DS cart which will also play DS titles anyway.

And if you absolutely need a DS cart, the R4i Gold is still a better option than the ones bundled with 3DS carts.

I bought the sky3ds is because I found one for only $79.99 plus the R4iSDHC v2015 for only $9.99 on https://www.peachds.com/
to me $79.99 is I think cheap price for a sky3ds because I could afford it and I'm been really satisfied with it.

Hm. $9.99 for that R4i seems very nice. I may have to go with Sky3DS + R4iSDHC v2015 on that one.

you see sky3ds update template file faster than qq3ds, that is to say , sky3ds users has better official supports once you bought original item.

This is going to happen more and more as old 9.0-9.3 systems get pulled off the shelves. (we had a post the other day of an N3DS installed with 9.4)

Nintendon't didn't just patch kernal access with 9.5, they're also pulling old stock and pushing N3DS with new firmware to prevent it. Eventually there will only be Sky3DS option for most new users.

GW is dead. Long live the Sky3DS. Sorry to say it. (but not really)

Better start working on reverse engineering the Powersaves Pro so we can ROM dump in the future.

And don't rub in the fact you have a 3DS with GW. I know you can get it to work up till a certain firmware. I know it has great features. But in time... you will be one of the few who does have a GW. And knowing Nintendon't holding a grudge, wouldn't be shocked if they go after GW before Sky3DS.

It's all about the ROM dump, baby!

Ease of use is also another factor, but not really. Once users start trying to use private headers, you lose a lot of noobs.

As for the DS cart, I already own a DSTwo... and in the past clones had a big fight and lost. So go original.

I was kinda referring to xenosagas' post:

From my experience, clone carts are not always completely identical and lots of times have no quality control whatsoever. The sheer number of crappy R4 clones was astounding.

Since he mentioned about clone carts in regards to Sky3DS and QQ3DS with R4's as examples, but the fact is that QQ3DS isn't even a clone anymore, due to it BEING Sky3DS with a different sticker.

If I have misunderstood anything at all, I apologize beforehand.

For me it was an unexpected result. I was planning on playing games on it, but in reached me about 2 weeks after i ordered it, and during that same 2 weeks the exploits came out. So in the end it had an unintended fate as a exploit starter. 6_^

The clones seems provide the poor customer service if they had any, they are even lazy to copy & paste sky3DS`s updated template)...By the way, most of sky3DS resellers offerred more cheaper price than Clones.

I never said it's useless to the OP. But he said QQ3DS has this addition, and asked why other people still want Sky3DS. The main reason for me is simply that I already have DSTWO, so this addition is useless to me.
