Also, a request...

I am dying to get the gold house and I've already put so much work into my rooms that I don't want to rip them all apart. How can I hex edit either Nook's shop or my own house directly?

I agree. Not being able to see buildings makes things a struggle. For now I've been putting bells at the 4 corners of buildings to help visualize.

Holy hell. - Hope I don't get banned for saying that...

IT WORKS

It saves the character and all of the characters items of the town you want.
Holy s***!

Really?!? Nice! Gonna go steal some nice looking patterns that are never given away:yay:

No, like the ENTIRE town is your new save, It's pretty bada**...

It changes your name and stuff and all that jazz, I wish you would be able to change your name and town name..

Regarding the profile pic mentioned a few pages back...

Removed any sensitive information that a sneaky Nintendo Rep browsing this site could go off of, just to be on the safe side.

That was indeed really easy. In fact, it worries me.

I figured that out too B-) took me some time and also wouldn't recommend releasing this to the public for many reasons.

thank you for this editor. I really like having more options for my town. haha but I have no idea what I'm doing. I tried to change the villagers...but the house and outfits aren't the defaults :(. Is there a way around this. like if I delete all the villagers and re add them? also is there a way to and an entrance to a private beach? thanks in advance

Anyone know where villager clothing data is stored? As in the one they're currently wearing? About 5 of my villagers are wearing the ugliest shirt ever and I'd like to change it. Preferably to a custom pattern but normal clothes would be fine too.

New RAM editor update, due to popular request!
* Now you get prompted to reset villager's data (clothing, furniture, catchphrase...) if you change him/her
* Compatible with NeoKamek's LeafTools RAM dump

If it isn't too much or impossible to do, could you add in coordinates?

I agree with this, adding coordinates would make things just a little bit easier to visualize and edit. For the moment they don't even have to be anything fancy, just an overlay around the borders would help a lot.
Still though great work! This is turning out to be fantastic!

how do you dump one?

Do what you normally do, but after you're in the dream town. So once you arrive in the dream town, press the Home button and dump it. Then you can go back to your town and inject it.

When injecting a dream town, I've found that saved pattern (so only the ones saved by Sable) and furniture in your house does not change.

By the way, you can update the dream town safely as it'll generate a new dream code when you do it.

That was the first thing I tried. Since it doesn't dump their furniture however, there won't even be a dresser there. The carpet/walls do get dumped though and it was the Ancient tile and Sea View wallpaper.

now if only there was an osx version of this.
You could try downloading Wine. It's a program that runs exe files on mac. Not sure if it'll work though.
