So OoT exploit is another thing you guys are gonna 'borrow' from Gateway..

Are you guys capable of finding your own exploits or are you always gonna wait for Gateway?
If you guys want to be independent of Gateway why don't you start finding your own exploits?

Sorry, this is just bullshit. At no point did we claim to be developing exploits, we're developing a *consumer* of exploits.

All of these exploits (including OoT) were found by yellows8 in 2012 anyway. Gateway simply made them public information and yellows8 stuck them on 3dbrew.

The 3DS development cycle:
  1. Exploit is found by security researcher
  2. Piracy company buys exploit, releases product
  3. Piracy company's loader is reversed, exploits are made public and used for other purposes
It's ridiculous to expect developers (KARL) to find exploits instead of, you know, developing.

I wish we had a system of giving "negative rep" on GBAtemp.

We have a "like" button which shows how many people approve of the post and really like it. I wish we had a "dislike" button or a way to somehow add "negative rep" to a particular member.

I would really like that.

People having negative 100 get automatically banned :D

But the problem with that is members like us can't "add to that negative" can we?

The negative rep system would actually prevent people from blurting out crap they don't know shit about, and even if they do, people who are reading their posts would know not to take those guys seriously due to their negative rep.

We do have the "Ignore User" method.
I just added him, hit refresh and *Poof*, he's gone.
He's more than welcome to add me to his list :)

If there was such a button, I would've "disliked" your post :P

And that would make you dislike my post....why?

Nonetheless, this is not the place to discuss it. We've stretched it too far. I don't wanna ruin the EPICNESS of this thread.
(don't want to ruin it either, but I feel like I'm not starting a war or parallel subject here)

A dislike/like button kills discussion imho.
Imagine this, you post a message, a genuine opinion of yours, you get downvoted. You don't even know why. Not the best of feelings.
Though I aswell don't like json's or similar messages.

Just like reddit then?

It's still linked to the console apparently, only system transfer and a call to Nintendo completely unlinks it and lets you move it to another console.

Not to derail this thread too much, but two separate Nintendo of America customer service reps (I called twice just to be sure) have said that they cannot unlink a NNID from a console unless they have a new console to link it to as well. At least in my case, I've already transferred the NNID to another console via the built-in system transfer function, so...

All I ever see is Json pelvis surfing Gateway in any thread that opposes them, kek. As it was previously stated, all of these exploits are public domain. Gateway simply made use of them.

Also, KARL team, I was thinking about it this morning, aren't NNIDs region specific?

I thought you could get it completely unlinked if it was stolen and you didn't want your funds to be lost. I might check later though.

Edit: looked around, if it was stolen they need a police report, however if you say you sold your old 3DS before you got an new one and don't have a serial for it they can completely untie it.
