Unlikely that the exploit was tested and developed on a demo cart. I would avoid buying one to use as a substitute for the hack.

No, SonyUSA even posted a tutorial how to install it(unless she was lying too), which was confirmed by Gaeway as a private beta, but she said emuNAND was not supported, so that could be the reason why they ditched it.

Yes, that's the ambiguous part. For my friend, he had a microsd adapter in his O3DS, and wanted to transfer to the same microSD in his NN3DS. This is not properly documented in the transfer dialogs, and you can't "think" your way into predicting the behavior.

flashcarts that use hacks or exploits tend to have real physical game requirements to run.

See the exploit requirements for installing homebrew on a wii. Depending on the version, requires a game of some type or another.

Yes you can, it's no longer a problem.

That is AFTER the hack has been refined.

In terms of the 3DS to the Wii, we are in game requirement phase. Please do not talk about banner bomb without understanding the order of how a hack is done and refined.

If I still owned a N3DS, I'd absolutely rather keep waiting for a less hassled and convoluted exploit: one where I could actually use all the features of my new console (i.e. super stable 3D), one that supports the latest emunand, and one that didn't require me to buy two separate pieces of hardware. It's not going to be an eternal wait for a worthwhile exploit, but it's going to be quite the long wait for one that does what everyone wants and expects it to do - those things mentioned above.

I'm still encouraging my friends and others to buy an old 3DS with a downgradable firmware and run the offline exploit. This "release" doesn't change anything for me personally in the N3DS scene.

Yes, my European MM Edition has SysNand 9.0.0 and EmuNand 9.5.0-23 now.
