This is a kind of beautiful agony. Every day that I'm not updating my Japanese N3DS, I know I'm missing out on some things (the CN themes and the upcoming Nikki Travel Quiz, for example). But everytime I see this thread explode even further, I know my patience will be rewarded. NAND redirect? Legitimate region free? Even better utilization of the homebrew elements so I can have sound? Goddammit, it'll be worthwhile.

NAND redirection, anyone? (also my camera seems to really like death grips...)

I guess someone forgot to unlink their NAND images

All in all it looks great but until the release you guys are in the same boat as GW, the fabled DSTWO+ and every other related project so Im taking this with a great amount of salt.

We should all probably unlink but then we have to commit to this emunand implementation :P

Nah, I'm unlinked. I actually system transferred over. That notification was from me installing something from the eShop and then powering down right after.

Not really, we're not releasing with a bug like that, and I'm sick of people making assumptions of the final release based on the (early) progress reports we post here.

So what do you want us to discuss then? This IS a discussion forum. So far the blacklisted topics seem to be the big p-word and bugs. This leaves uhhh....feature requests, basic "damn you guys are awesome" replies to progress reports, and ego stroking. Did I miss anything from the developers "allowable topic" list? It sounds like you want a blog over something like this

They don't want debate over bugs that will be fixed long before the actual release. It's pointless.

I'm not banning anything, it's just pretty pointless to discuss something we're going to fix before release.

But he was simply asking if that bug was ever fixed or if you folks had made any progress fixing it. This thread has over 96 pages and I think it's kinda crummy of you to call him out like that. (also as crummy as my post calling you out was :P)

emunand was basically the only thing being worked on, so no.

Don't worry there's no harm done, we're all anonymous here anyway.
Dazzozo has already stated that he's tired of speculations, and that's understandable on my part.
Let's not derail this thread again.

I'd rather support them than try to nitpick little details.

Back On topic: It's good know that the devs are committed to a high quality release.

I fear something terrible will happen with the community who follow this project, but I'll keep my thoughts to myself for now.

If those following this project mislead themselves and didn't read its all on them.

Awesome

Rokkubro You've got a lot of people missing the revision because you don't exlain how to check it. I would suggest adding the following to your OP
To find the version, go here and copy the numbers/letters on the right side of the latest commit.

So I haven't really been following the thread...what does this open for old 3ds 4.x users?

Good idea, I'll do that now.
Edit: Done, cleaned up the database a little too.
Edit2: Added the commit I used for testing to the database, I'll test properly with the most recent version tomorrow.
