Thanks for the info
Wow sound like an imminent release....
If Hykem works as fast as people say he does.... Perhaps we should have an IOS exploit released by April too... The U scene is about to explode
yesh!
Can't wait any longer for Wii U RAM hacking to become reality for everyone. So I can remake all my Wind Waker hacks for the HD version

They already have some testers, if they Need more, they ask for more...
If you need once again to read:

Kernel exploit works on any FW up to this date so do what you want.

Regarding your 2nd question, if you read back a few pages nwplayer1 stated nothing permanent yet - i think because bootloader has not been controlled by anyone yet.so any exploit will have to be run each time on boot up.Hello guys. Two questions..
1. If I´d buy a new WiiU Premium today. Does it have to connect to internet and update on the first boot? Or is it possible to just start the console and start using it with the stock firmware? I´m guessing it´s better to be stay at the lowest firmware possible? Yeah I know you said that the exploit will work on all firmwares released so far. But I just want to know if I can keep the stock firmware..
2. This exploit that is about to be released.. is that exploit enough to make a homebrew channel like on the first Wii? Or is it just one step in the right direction? Will it open up the console completely so you can run homebrew code?
So all of that "latest firmware" talk was BS?
What talk about the latest firmware? If you mean the kernel exploit being able to work on it, no, the bug is still there, but it may require minor porting effort on some versions.
Don't worry about it being slow, everyone has real lives outside of gbatemp, its all in your spare time and unpaid after all, too many people forget that and think that its the one and only thing you do and should spend 24/7 on it.It's probably gonna be a slow week for progress. Still working on finding a good Webkit exploit, haven't had much time to do anything with that, but I'm also looking into TexConv2's conversion process so I can replicate it. Thank god for IDA having pseudocode to keep me sane.
