with this tool i can (i'm on 9.2) create an emunand, upgrade it, and play all my games with the last update?

To create the Emunand you need to use either gateway or MT launcher first. Once it's created you can access it with this tool.
Note: Don't forget to backup your SD content first!

The file which you need to run emunand. You can download it with the .exe file called cdn_firm.exe in release folder.

No, you have to create the emunand with Gateway Launcher, and when you have this, you can run emunand with this and update it, and do all you can do with Classic Mode.

first thanks for your hard work it´s amaizing!!!
i have a problem with emuNAND and sky3ds, when i push blue button for change rom sky3ds doesn´t change the rom, i try to remove and insert the flashcard sometimes and only can see one game.
With firmware 4.5 (original fw) sky3ds works fine.
Some idea ?

• It's possible that this doesn't work on KOR consoles, i'll apreciate if someone who has it can test for now just one guy here cannot boot rxTools
• I do not know anything about how sky3ds works, and i do not own the card. So i cannot tell what the problem is, i can just say i haven't patched anything to block it.
• Use Gateway or MT Launchers to setup an EmuNAND. A feature tu do this with rxTools is already planned, but not too much a priority now.
• Yes, it's like a Classic Mode, so you can update your EmuNAND to the last system version, access the eShop and go online.

Edit: Weird, i just updated my sysnand to 7.2 with Pokemon saphyr alpha, and now it works fine, with a 4.5 emunand...Odd

I know there's a huge wishlist already but do you think it would be possible to add a tool that allows to move your downloaded eshop content from emunand to sysnand? Of course after the sysnand injection has been properly tested.
There's a guide on how to do that manually and the current toolkit even makes some of the steps easier but it still feels awkward at some points.

Time to explain, i guess.
-Since i do not know when KARL will release, i'll do on my own choice, this is another kind of project
-I offered them my help but they said they didn't need it. No problem to me, i actually continued with my project
-I personally do not care about piracy, what really matters to me is the fact right now offering free piracy to anyone can kill the console, and kill Gateway. Feel stupid to hear, yeah, but think about it, if Gateway exits the scene, there will not be progress anymore.

It supports every 3DS/3DSXL/2DS with firmare below 9.2. The choice is the web browser just becouse it's free, while CN is not.
It should not be too hard to implement mset support if you really want it. Though, i'll prefer to give support for mset for 4.x and 6.x too if i can. We'll see.

To boot it you'll just need an addictional file, not much. It's required to make this legal to share. But i promise that the setup will be noob-proof.

I cannot tell if this will be in the next rxTools release, but my goal is to implement it the most soon as possible. Also, yeah, i'll close the source of rxMode; though, rxTools will continue to be open source, so the GitHub repo will continue to be updated with all the new features, just excluding the cfw side.

As for now, rxMode can offer a FREE solution to boot emuNand, it supports the last firmware. I'm working to get region-free too.
As for signatures check, i will not disable them in the first release. It is part of my ethics about keeping the scene in life.
Until i'll disable them (and let you pirate how much you want), i can implement much cool features, like a gameshark engine, maybe screenshot and regionfree and a simple homebrew loader. My plan is to offer completely free and stable cfw, along with a complete toolset for the console (which is rxTools).

No plans for N3DS : i do not have one, i do not have plans on buying one, and this will limit the damage for Gateway and Nintendo, even though there shouldn't be any.

I hope whenever you get around to it, it will support games with the extra RAM requirement like MH4/U.

I know that much, but i mean something like AR Codes, its useful, but had it limitations, or something like the spider3dstools code.bins where you can use multiple variables of different types, read/write files on SD, do complex calculations, etc.

I noticed the feature that dumps system titles and decrypts them is missing in 2.x version of rxTools. Any plans on bringing that back? I want to decrypt the home menu app and see if I can extract the 3D models of certain elements like the "DS Cartridge" model displayed when DS game are inserted, as well as the 3DS cartridge model among other things. (unless there's already a way of doing this. In that case, someone please let me know. )

Currently ctrtool sees the romfs.bin in the title app and it extracts it. But the resulting file appears to still be encrypted or corrupted as I can not extract it and the data looks random when viewed in a hex editor.

I have a 4.2.0-9U 3DS with the browser from -16U installed in sysnand.

RX-mode boots fine, but updating the emunand the process hanged at about 80% and i had to turn off.

Now I have a partially updated emunand (home is updated, Cver and Nver says 4.2.0-9U) and if I try to update again an error occours.

Don't know if it's a random problems, if it's related to manually updating the browser, or if it's something not working in RX-mode with my fw version.

Tomorrow I'll try again with a new emunand setup.

EDIT: Started again and it worked!
