Taken from SARPACK source code...
"If the Author of the Software (the "Author") needs a place to crash and
you have a sofa available, you should maybe give the Author a break and
let them sleep on your couch.

If you are caught in a dire situation wherein you only have enough time
to save one person out of a group, and the Author is a member of that
group, you must save the Author."

That's funny :)

What what? Aren't ipk files for linux (AFAIK debian) related packages? Really neat btw.

you are thinking of .apk files. and .apk files are android (linux) packages. No correlation to the WiiU there.
I think I might pick up a WiiU again....

edit: or maybe you're thinking of .pkg files or .deb files...

Amazing progress, and thank you to giving us regular updates about the current developement. I wonder if it will be possible to play Japanese Wii U games on my PAL Wii U? Since the first anouncement of Xenoblade X im counting the days until release, but all we have is the jpn release date 29th of april. I am willing to import that games, but can not spend hundreds of euros for an additional Japanese Wii U for only one game awwww.

I tried that but it doesn't work.

Then you're probably using Python 3.

I'm not sure if it would be possible with a kernel exploit, that would most likely require an IOSU exploit or a way to bypass the loader, depending on which handles reading the disc/region.

I'm using Python 2.7, I've also tried the exe but that doesn't work either.

No. There are also .ipk files. They are mostly used for embedded devices though. If you install debian on a Raspberry Pi you will probably be dealing with them. At least that is the place Ive most often used them.

I hope the current firmware version will be supported again one day because that would be useful to many people including me.

I might stop updating now since it's getting worth it. :)

New Webkit exploit is being looked into ;)
