Wow, this has come a long way since I last checked! Great work guys, looking forward to mess around with a more open system. An EU version of Cubic Ninja will work right? And that is all I need on a 9.0 N3DS? Thanks for keeping everyone updated on your progress, seems like this is something the 3DS scene lacks lol :grog:

Since piracy is out of the question, what would karl3DS do for people who aren't interested in playing a shitty snake port on the 3DS, could we use this for say patching our retail games so we don't have to update our Sysnand?

It's region free. You can play play retail games without having to be the same region. You can update to the latest firmware and install updates yes, as well as buy games/etc on the eshop. (Although may not be able to after 9.6, if Nintendo can fix their encryption.)

But then again it's gonna take some time until games utilizing the new firmware will be released.

First time I have been this excited to buy a game without knowing anything at all about it lol. Seems decent on the cover, might have to get it one of these days and take it for a spin before Karl3DS even releases too. Console hacking is very rare where I come from so I am sure I can pick this up at gamestop for literally nothing :yaysp:

Bought it on the German Amazon website. I have to admit it was WAY before the whole ninjhax stuff. It could was even before Gateway released their flashcart.
At that time I needed a present for a friend. I ended up buying him Rhythm Thief for the 3DS, since I played the game and found it was actually quite fun to play. When I ordered it I would have paid like 15€, free shipping starting at 20€ (now it's 29€, but that doesn't matter). So I decided to put another game into the cart. It was Cubic Ninja, since it cost enough to give me free shipping while being cheap enough to be a bearable addition.
I laughed my rectum off when I saw Smealum announcing his exploit game. My friend is happy to lend me the game for a while, since he's not into homebrew and I think he isn't in such a big need for the game, regardless. xD

I wouldn't hold my breath on it. These babies are getting rarer by the minute. You would not believe, I convinced a seller to ship internationally, and he listed the game TWICE and they gold sold out even before I could place the order :P

Well, the rush is justified coz it's the ONLY KNOWN ENTRYPOINT for N3DS XL and of course because of Karl3DS :)
