Homebrew [Release] ORGANIZ3D - Filebrowser for 3DS

What I look forward to is a better image viewer. The current one is nice for the current limitations and considering that you've already got jpg, png, and bmp working, but it really sucks how zoomed in it is, with no zoom function and a very slow scroll. But, I understand it must've been hard enough to get the 3ds to load the image at all. I love the application and see a whole lot of potential, great job!
 
Hi, i am wondering if it is a known issue that the CIA version will ofter crash on palentine CFW ?
(i double checked the installation on the main post and everything seems fine)
whenever i try to start the CIA, it only works 50% of the time, either i get a black screen or it loads in 2 seconds
and everytime i press "select" to switch modes, it crashes.
The homebrew version with the issue is the 0.7.1 .

(i tried booting the CIA 20 times, 12 of them where crashes, and of the 8 sucesses none let me use the select button without crashing)

If it is a known issue, do you know of any way to make it work ?

Are you sure pressing select crashes it ? When you press select the program maps up the content of exdata, it can take a while. I also thought it was a crash at first, but after about a minute of waiting, it showed exdata.

Crash or freeze?

For startup crashes: Do you start hb with WiFi on or off?
 
for select , it is a freeze, i tried letting it be for 5 minutes, as suggested, still no help
and for startup, i start with wifi off, and it is a freeze as well

Sound strange :/ Seems CFW cannot access some extdata archive.
Does other homebrews you use have similar issues?
 
i use a SanDisk Ultra SDHC with 16 Gb , it is a class 10 with 30 MB/s of read speed (but most time it caps at 25MB/s on my computer).
so i really don't think it is the issue.
(i have another SD card that had the same issue and has slower read speed)

Edit : Now that i think about it, whenever i try to use the Download Mii homebrew from the CN CIA, it will freeze as well....
 
I updated ORGANIZ3D and it installed another launch icon in the Home menu. Now I have two.

1. How do I disable auto updates?
2. How do I remove the extra launch icon?

I uninstalled the 0x1337 and I was left with just one. Did the unique ID change?
 
Funny how I copied back just the 7.0 CIA and installed it and left the LUA files intact, and the app says it's already on 7.1. Did you only update the LUA files?

No, there is a an important change in Video module to enable different samplerates support (to reduce JPGV/BMPV filesize).
 
Could you Plesse enhance the controls (3dsx)?
1. L should be replaced by select (maybe the extdata manager can be added to the list)
2. There should be generic fileinfo be displayed when pressing x (like filesize, extension, APP to open the file, pixles at images etc.)
3. Fileinteractions and functions Luke create a New folder/renaming a file should be avaible in a Dialog when pressing y.
4. 3dsx loaring seems not to work
5. Maybe you can scroll the opened files (txt/hex) by pressing up/down

It would be gold to be able to turn the bottom screen oft Ehen watching a Video.

1. Extdata and Cia Manager are filebrowser modes, not filebrowser readers. They can't be put in the same dialog.
2. Fileinfo is an available reader. Maybe it can be improved.
3. Don't know if it can be really useful, it can slow filebrowser usage for massive copy for example.
4. Are you sure 3DSX loading doesn't work? I tested it a lot of time and it always worked for me.
5. Up/Down dpad is used to scroll files.

My cia of organiz3d loads but not the 3dsx

I just think that these ideas would make the filebrowser much more intuitive.
Yes, the 3dsx doesn't load when I press A or when I select the 3dsx loader.
