There was a pretty large gap of time between 9.4 and 9.5 for Nintendo NOT to block either cards intentionally, OR fix the browser exploit... I wonder what's REALLY going on over there. And 9.3 was patched by 9.4 in just 3 days, which makes me wonder if they just forgot to perfect everything in 9.3 before finding a bug, or if there's some kind of major fuck-up in 9.3 they were so quick to cover up and fix. Makes me wonder.

The ARM9-loader has added a new keyX with keyslot 0x16 that is generated on hard-boot. The ARM9 binary is now encrypted with this key. In order to decrypt it, you'll need arm9hax on firm > 9.4, or some form of bootromhax.

Thought as much, those with LOZ:MM installed onto the hardware will only be prompted to update once they decide to play the game and I'm still sure the models coming out are 9.2 or less

It'd be really unlikely but if some of the models (eg MM models) were different versions to the Monster Hunter models and the rest that would really suck

No, i'm thinking the game cartridge itself, not the model, The system shouldn't do as long as not connected to the Internet on first setup

Mine from Australia is v9.0E btw and MM models from AUS were available at the same time, some also say the some AUS models will simply be in EU stores; if that's the case then definetly 9.0 if not, 9.4 still unlikely

While I dunno about the technical stuff, Gateway posted a message stating 9.5 emunand will NOT be supported on the new3DS, probably because of this, for quite a while.

So Gateway team already released a update for 9.5 on emunand, true, they were dead xD

Kracken : Basically, they said they wanted to inform people they might won't be able to support emunand 9.5 on N3DS, which mean your emunand on N3DS will be stuck at the same firmare your sysnand is.

If your sysnand is 9.0, your emunand will be 9.0. If your sysnand is 9.2, your emunand will be 9.2.

So, you won't be able to access eshop on N3DS emunand, that's what they mean.

Other things wont be a problem (roms, cia, etc...)

If you want to play online games that require update, you'll have to get them as .cia files and install them manually.

If you don't play online, it won't change anything (as you probably never use the eshop then).

I personally don't care about MM, but don't worry, it won't need 9.5, might even not need 9.x as it's probably a game manufactured since long ago (like Pokemon OR/AS).

And no, even if the encryption key would be changed, no, I don't want a Sky3DS personally so pro Sky3ds or pro GW, keep your opinions away from this forum and stop trying to "sell" your stuffs, thanks You know you can still buy games if you like them anyway, right?

Gateway said that emuNAND 9.5 on New3DS is not possible at the moment. They need to work some things out to get some stuff working for it.
