am i the only one on 3.0.3 has to delete cookies every time i want to load emunand? this is getting annoying

is there an issue if i go back to 3.0? ( putting the launcher on the sd card)

No, this has been a thing since 3.0. Unless you do the Wireless Switch stuff of course.

You can try using a QR code to get to the exploit instead. I have very rarely had it fail on me when I used a QR code. If you aren't always near a computer, you can also print out the QR code and bring with you. ;)

Also, unless you're using a Chinese/TWN/Korean 3DS, there's really no reason to use 3.0.1/3.0.2/3.0.3. Just stick to the original 3.0 release until a more substantial update is released by Gateway. ;)

Actually, 3.0.1 did have fixes for all 3ds consoles. And why not just use 3.0.3? It is the latest revision after all. Maybe there were some more minor bug fixes done as well.

Don't you need wi-fi to use the QR code?

Of coarse you need Wifi. The QR code is basically just a URL shortcut. Scanning it from the shoulder button activated camera will simply send you to the web browser. The reason it works better for the exploit is because the web browser when loaded in this way isn't allowed to load anything else. It immediately loads what the URL the camera sent to it via the QR code you scanned. ;)

Well yeah, 3.0.1 fixed the SP1 fail on the diagnostic test menu. But for what purpose would you really need that? Most folks don't really use that menu anyways and I think the downgrade packs which were introduced at the same time as 3.0.1 would work when used on 3.0 as well. I just don't see the point in using the updated ones if the updates aren't relevant to your situation. :P

Gateway has issues running roms from red card on a 2DS anyway. (cia installs work fine tho IF you can get devmenu/bbm to run from red card first!) Just sell the console and get a 3DS XL.
I have an XL and a 2DS and the gateway red card read error issue on the 2DS makes it not worth bothering IMHO.
I'm still wondering if this is the issue with N3DS support and no one is telling...

Roms have worked flawlessly for me from the red card on my US 9.0 2DS. I might be lucky though I guess.

I understand that to go to data management in emunand to delete cia games you have to format emunand again, that will unlink sysnand from emunand right? Will it also erase games I bought from sysnand?

That's good! Have you had any other games that didn't work while trimmed? Like Pokemon ORAS or Animal Crossing

TRIM compatibility depends on your microSD.
Believe it or not, I can use my ORAS trimmed rom with a Transcend Class 10 microSD, but not with a Sandisk Class 10 microSD.

I have a pny sdxc class 10 card with up to 90mb per second, I should be fine right? I'm just waiting on my gateway card to arrive so I can test for myself

A better example would be two of my identical Transcend Cards. One could run Animal Crossing trimmed, the other could not.
Never figured out why, but if that happens you can just untrim that specific rom.
It should not be a big deal, maybe one rom will have the issue, if at all.
