The DSI application Petit computer has a qr code function, would it be able to do something simpler to ninjhax?
PS: If not can we inject dsi roms onto dsi games?

No and no, hacking a DSi app wouldn't do much because it would be under TWL_FIRM and we can't inject DSi ROMs because that also runs in another FIRM so the browser would be inaccessible.

Not every single thing with a QR reader can be exploited. It's how the game works behind the QR reader and what it does with the scanned data that matters.

The reason the QR code in Cubic Ninja could be exploited was because the bounds weren't checked in the QR code. This was just a simple flaw in the development of Cubic Ninja, and it isn't in every game. Hell, if it was in every game, we'd have hacks left and right.

We kinda do now, dont we? Shit. Two different exploits on the same firmware that access two different processors. Why haven't we opened this thing up completely yet?

Ah, I see. Well there is an exploit from one game that allows CFW I think, so that might be what ur thinking of.

There is no exploit that gives sufficient permissions to the system for installing custom firmwares in any game.

Since this topic involves Petit Computer, it might be useful to know it is being pulled on Jan 31st in Europe (today!).
Of course, since the GB tetris was yanked from the NA eshop without warning (while EU was warned), you have to be concerned about this too if you're stateside.

I rather enjoy a life of taking it easy. I haven't reached that life yet though.
