Anybody playing this game? Just got it and it's as fun as the Wii version. Also I'm looking really hard for the DVD case art. If anyone wants to play, just know that my current character is HR1. I just started this week.

Awesome! Thanks! The used copy I received had no box art. The pricing for this game is odd. +30 USD on the eShop but you can buy a physical copy from GameStop for 20 new and 18 used.

You need to check out glyde.com. My MH3 is actually new and 18.11 delivered. Right now it is $33.00 but someone will dump theirs soon for less. Some prices are nuts but if you set alerts for the games you want and the price level you want they eventually come up. I have 3 delivered through them all great and another 5 in process. 90% of the time I can get it there for less than anywhere else if I am patient.

What controller is everyone using to play this? In the Wii version, I was a huge fan of the Wii Remote and Nunchuck controls but since Capcom chickened out and went with "4 face button controllers" only, I find myself using the PDP fight pad. There is a lot of multitasking in Monster Hunter so having a GameCube styled controller where all the buttons feel different, helps. BTW, does this game support USB keyboards?

It does!

I play with the Wii U Pro Controller. My hunter was at HR 431 (I was pretty much grinding an entire month). If you need help/tips later on let me know, I'd love to play again and screw over some G-rank Diablos. :D I sold my Wii U copy though, but I still have my save backed up on my 3DS cartridge. I'm waiting for MH4U, so once that's out I'll never touch MH3U.

Hey I have not forgotten about the scan. I will check and see if my new laser printer has a color scanner, if not I have an old Epson in a box I can hook up and do it later this week or next. Have a lot going this week with Scouts.

Thanks, I appreciate that.I'm just frustrated that the online lobby is damn near empty these days.

Couldn't you just go to a GameStop and ask them to scan the cover or something? That's what I do with the local game stores here, but I take my official covers and swap with their ones (because those have the green stripe than whatever colour) with their consent.

In my area, MH3 is extremely rare so the chances of that would be slim to none.

Interesting. So I fired up the GameStop app and you are right. In my area (Midwest major city) only two new copies out of 20 or so locations and maybe 1/4 have used. The game must be dead becuase the price is only $18 used and $20 new. No demand.

Wow. If only the Wii U was region free then the PAL copies wouldn't matter as importing a US copy would be a lot cheaper.

I did purchase MH3U for £9 which is $13 but it normally goes for £30-66, though.

I wish the same thing about pharmacuticals. Here we pay through the nose for them and they give them to the rest of the world dirt cheap. :(
