in truth those infos if they are used together would lead to wii u hack but i see hackers trying to be on the light site of the force and not doing a thing, i am not a programmer but i happen to understand some basic things and i see lack of enthusiasm ,some even dare say that hacking the wii u is unethicall ,from my stand as i leave in europe just release the way and let us decide what to do ,in my country is legal to mod what you own...

True, the common key does allow you to access files. You can't really modify the files and expect them to work on actual hardware though.
what makes you thing that i demanded something ? i just stated some facts ,before getting your personal crusade dude i am old enought to generate my own income but not stupid enough to never utilize something in its all possiblities , i am smart in my way 2 bsc and one master but not in programming that i said your problem is what? did you see my demading? i just stated the obvious facts ,i am not a kid but yet i want to have a shot in all capabilities of a console ,if you think that i am obliged to pay 50e for a game half baked you are wrong i do support devs but i do insist homebrew didnt kill the consoles.Unfortunately for you, I am not the one in here demanding piracy hacks and then complaining and insulting those working on a kernel exploit. If you think you are so smart, do it yourself and stop insulting others such as mario and nwp.
Someone take this trash out for me, I'm busy working on real life.

That would require the console specific NAND/eMMC keys. Im working on dumping the NAND and id like to be able to gets the keys as well (if i can) and release the method for doing so. But even with the keys, its possible that the starbuck will prevent any modified data from running from NAND. Only one way to find out...So could we expect for a custom update wich prevent official update from nus servers ?

Hes a known troll around here, just ignore himwhat makes you thing that i demanded something ? i just stated some facts ,before getting your personal crusade dude i am old enought to generate my own income but not stupid enough to never utilize something in its all possiblities , i am smart in my way 2 bsc and one master but not in programming that i said your problem is what? did you see my demading? i just stated the obvious facts ,i am not a kid but yet i want to have a shot in all capabilities of a console ,if you think that i am obliged to pay 50e for a game half baked you are wrong i do support devs but i do insist homebrew didnt kill the consoles.

That's for NUS, DiscU is for decrypting Wii U ISOs/WUDs the scene released.
I know that AES in CBC mode is used, but is a specific IV other than 0 needed? It would be nice to have a detailed write-up on what requirements are needed in the decryption process before the actual decryption part of it. e.g. how to locate the partition keys, etc. That's for NUS, DiscU is for decrypting Wii U ISOs/WUDs the scene released.

That's what I'm trying to figure out. It seems the same as Wii disc where it's the first 8 bytes of the decrypted title key and then the rest is 00. I haven't found any partition data though to read it properly.I know that AES in CBC mode is used, but is a specific IV other than 0 needed? So, is it truly necessary for the key to have been leaked then?

I'm the troll? Lol. You have trolled everyone here for months with your nonsensical BS spewed in every other thread.
At least I am not a known liar who fabricates successes and ignores guidance from from folks like comex, marcan_troll, and crediar. I also do not duct tape hard drives to the side of my wii calling it a new hardware hack or roll around on youtube looking all disgusting with no shirt on claiming to be making huge breaktrhoughs in the "scene." How does it feel to have to retract practically every comment you have ever made? I wouldn't know, I don't suffer from those issues.
But it doesn't matter at this point. This stuff is happening and no thanks can be given to you at all; and really, that is what matters here.

Dude, calm your tits and drop it, who the hell cares what happened in the past? Time to move on.

Course it is. Just because it doesn't help too much as a standalone doesn't mean it's not essential in providing homebrew.
