I've been right here. They've said a couple times that they were trying to release before a time but they have never publicly set an Official date because like they said at the very start they do not want to set a date that they can not meet.

That is nearly the definition of a release date.

Never trust "end of the week." I lost trust to gateway ages ago.

That is the definition of a release date.

A release date would be saying that the update is coming out on a specific date. Saying that they are trying to get the update before something like Christmas is not setting an official date, come on.

It doesn't matter if it's not a specific day. It's a window and there have been multiple. I'm not really seeing the difference between launch window and launch date in this situation. They are the same thing except one has a 24 hour window and the other has a week.

I decided to succumb to temptation and ordered my Gateway, hopefully it's going to arrive tomorrow. Was going to wait until the update was finally released but I was weak lol

Roll and rock everyone. Will update when I know more, or when the rockets are being refueled for the big 3.0 launch which still can happen anytime between now up until the end of Sunday (in their timezone, pick one as it is spread over 4 different zones), hopefully an act of nature does not move sunday to a new slot in time

You're inserting "trying" yourself, they specifically promised at least one person that it would be out before the 5th.
No, having a set date does not matter, they made a specific promise to people and they haven't kept it, don't bother trusting any future promises either.

I doubt Gateway is releasing the update on Sunday, just like how I didn't hold the 48 hour date to heart. The internet is known for making stupid dates, and people should be smart enough to not follow them. Even coming from the horses mouth, speaking Team Gateway, you shouldn't take their dates seriously.

They said they were going to release 9.0-9.2 first, release it, then work their way down. Now we found out they haven't released it because they're working their way down, and no one wanted that. I can honestly say, Fuck you Gateway, wish Sky came out with their blue button sooner, sick of this shit.

Ninjhax is one-time so it's kind of safe to assume Gateway QR exploit will be one-time too

Well... The two exploits use the same entry point and maybe even both use 'ssspwn' but the end result is different since it's not the same exploit, cubic ninja is saved onto the savegame after the exploit, we're not sure how gateway works. Fingers crossed though.
