Sorry to hear that. We tried to warn you.

No need to be sorry mate, I'm confident that it's going to be released at some point. Like I've said before I've worked in the game industry for 4 years so am fully aware that projects can get delayed.

I don't know if the Nerd Rage in this thread over the last few weeks has been funny or sad tbh, probably somewhere between the two lol

Well... The two exploits use the same entry point and maybe even both use 'ssspwn' but the end result is different since it's not the same exploit, cubic ninja is saved onto the savegame after the exploit, we're not sure how gateway works. Fingers crossed though.

Note sure SSSPWN is used by smea for his homebrew launcher, because he use ninjhax even below 6.2, and we all know that DS profile exploit + SSSPWN works till 6.2 or 6.0 i dont remember wich version, because smea showed us, so he would have released a version for people who still below theses and will not have to buy a game that nearly been sold to use "legal" homebrews :)

EDIT: But, i think gateway use SSSPWN from another entry point (i mean other than DS profile exploit)

They can get their release "soon" is not why I'm going to love them, they take the "buyers" for idiots not to communicate anything, it's pathetic, and not tell me we should not buy if it was not compatible for my console, I decided, and decided it was tons of their video and promesses. On do not let the silence as an answer, it's contempt for me to those who enrich.

They are "leaking" dates to keep sales up while they finish it. It's a very deceptive business practice and again, not what a company on that level should use. They are inferring that the update is very close, less than a week to get people to order now instead of waiting for the update. If this was anyone else, would they be defended for it? There's a psychiatric paper in this shit somewhere. I wonder what the difference in wiring is between those prone to being a fanboy\fangirl and the rest of us is?

They're getting away with this since they're the only company that provides these services with superb quality. People will pay anything for that.

I believed once, feel a bit mugged off now.

This update will be released when gateway are ready, not when the update is. They proved it works on a N3DS, proof that it exists and they made it run their stuff.

To be honest when you're showing potential customers a video like that your release is not long off. Yet it's always soon, round the corner, a few days or at the end of the week.

I think anyone is entitled to a working piece of hardware they paid $100 on.
You're entitled to what you paid for, which is a piece of hardware advertised to work on 4.0-4.5, and that's *exactly* what you got.

While it's okay to buy something because of what it might do in the future, doing that and then complaining because it doesn't do it yet only makes one a fool.

Lack of info and moving dates, I agree is annoying. If there was any practical alternative to GW, they would be finished. But there isn't. My buddy just handed me a (RED Button) Sky3DS to show him how to work it and it's a PITA.

So if someone buys it based on this implication, should they be irritated or happy?

They bought it under the knowledge that it won't work, so what makes them entitled to anything?

Only the thing that they bought it under the premise that it would work soon. There's just a strong discrepancy in the understanding of the word "soon" between the Gateway team and the customers.

The only discrepancy is people jumping to conclusions and assuming.
