If it's not too too personal, where is this happening? I wanna read more.

Dominican Republic, been going on here the blackouts for over 20 years now. Power been shit here every since the CIA help to kill the dictator that ruled this island with his iron fist in the '60s

Nope, we got Orange here and full 4G internet, most of time I get close to 100meg speeds, and from midnight to 7am it is totally unlimited, no caps, limits, can reach even faster speeds, but costly more then my food and rent, but we getting off-topic now.
You live in someone's basement?

I will personally give you a bitcoin if you release more info on the update within the hour. That should cover for more than a months worth of food minus the rent I guess.....

I'm not joking.

Wow, you're not kidding. That's insane. Thankyou, now I've got another thing to read through :)

I have a Gateway (with a 4.5 XL), but honestly, Sky3DS has better support if you want to be up to date on the latest firmware without emuNAND and you JUST want to play ROMS (which I bet is around 98-something % of the people here).
But you still can't play on 9.3+ unlike Sky3DS. So Gateway is already outdated in their support and it hasn't even been released.
You're acting like Sky3DS has some master support plan for future firmwares, when in reality since they use an exploit that Nintendo hasn't patched, they automatically have support for newer firmwares.
And when it's blocked they'll just release another card, when it's blocked you won't be able to play any new games because you must update to play them.
Gateway is only able to support 9.2 because of an exploit in the Firmware, they physically cannot support future firmwares because that exploit is fixed, but, with Emunand, we have literally 0 reason to ever update again.
And no, you are screwed if you "just want to play ROMS" but want some of those roms to be out-of-region, or have any faith in the future of the product without fear that you'll have to buy it again just because their exploit method demands it.

That is true. Sky3DS is far from perfect, but it gets the job done for most people. I mean, sure region-free is awesome, but how many of you really are going to play JP games? Also, parents who buy it for their kids don't really care about that.

It would be nice if they added that though.

I have 7 Japanese ROMs on my MicroSD card right now, plus a couple of European ROMs as well. And my 3DS XL is american so...

But yeah, it's true that for "most kids" Sky3DS is more than enough. Again, different products for different needs. I'm fairly sure anyone sticking THIS LONG on this thread isn't doing it so just "for the ROMs".

I'm here for Japanese Game Support and Play Coin Setter.

garyopa dont worry im still trust your words ..... for those like me who bougth gateway 3ds we need to do is wait we cannot do anything but wait the update calm down :)

Methaphors. K

So, when we calm a bit, they update the whole thing...? Who knows.
I just think it's a way of speaking. Or maybe the bad weather is some of you who want to DDoS the site...
(sir, I feel a bit offended. I impacient, but I'm not a kid that "hit his mother" when she doesn't give him a lollypop. METHAPHORS for all!!!!!!!!!!)
